Takumi Saito & Juri Ueno cast in Netflix drama “Kentaro Hiyama’s First Pregnancy”

Takumi Saito & Juri Ueno are cast in Netflix live-action drama series “Kentaro Hiyama’s First Pregnancy.” The drama series is based on manga “Hiyama Kentaro no Ninshin” by Eri Sakai. The manga & screenplay is set in a world where men get pregnant and give birth. For the drama series, Takumi Saito will play Kentaro Hiyama and Juri Ueno will play his partner Aki Seto. Kentaro Hiyama learns that he is pregnant.

“Kentaro Hiyama’s First Pregnancy” will be available to stream sometime next year on Netflix.

Ep.1 trailer for JTBC drama “Law School”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “Law School” starring Kim Myung-Min, Kim Beom, & Ryoo Hye-Young. The trailer shows former chief prosecutor Byeong-Joo (Ahn Nae-Sang) found dead at a law school. Law School Professor Yang Jong-Hoon (Kim Myung-Min) confirms that Seo Byeong-Joo’s death was murdered and did not die by suicide. English title set to “The Devil Judge” for tvN drama

According to tvN, the official English title has been changed to “The Devil Judge” for their drama series starring Ji Sung, Kim Min-Jung, Jin Young, & Park Gyu-Young. The drama series had the early English title of “The Devil’s Justice” previously. In the drama series, Ji Sung plays Judge Kang Yo-Han. He punishes those blinded by greed in his courtroom.

Air date for “The Devil Judge” is still slotted for sometime in the second half of this year.

Hikaru Takahashi cast in TV Tokyo drama “Curse of Spring”

Hikaru Takahashi is cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Curse of Spring” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Haru no Noroi” by Asuka Konishi. For the drama series, Hikaru Takahashi will play lead female character Natsumi Tachibana. She begins to date the fiance of her late younger sister, but also develops guilty feelings over this.

“Curse of Spring” will air sometime this year in Japan.
