Kim Nam-Gil & Lee Yoo-Mi cast in SBS drama “Nightmare”

Kim Nam-Gil and Lee Yoo-Mi are cast in SBS drama series “Nightmare” (literal title). The crime-fantasy drama series will revolve around a vigilante group, including two police officers in their group, who uses nightmares to punish villains who have escaped punishment from the law. Kim Nam-Gil will play Detective Kim Tae-Yi. He returns the police station after working undercover for a long time with a different personality. Lee Yoo-Mi will play Jang Kyu-Eun. She appears like a shy person, but when she appears in the dreams of villains, she becomes a different person.

“Nightmare” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kim Tae-Yi (Kim Nam-Gil) returns to the Nambu Police Station after working undercover for an extended period of time. He has changed in nearly every aspect about himself, including his personality, speech, and behavior, but his obsession to catch villains remains the same. He teams up with a vigilante group which designs nightmares to catch villains. 

Jang Kyu-Eun (Lee Yoo-Mi) is a member of the vigilante group and is a mysterious nightmare planner. She is also a police officer and works in the same police station as Kim Tae-Yi. She has a shy and timid personality, but, when she appears in the dreams of unpunished villains, she becomes a totally different person. Her face appears cruel and decadent, while she inflicts terrible pain on them.
