Actress Shin Hye-Sun has been offered the lead female role in upcoming KBS2 weekend drama series “My Golden Life” (literal title). Park Si-Hoo has already received an offer to play the lead male character. Both performers are now positively considering their offers. In addition, actor Lee Tae-Hwan has been offered a major supporting character role in the drama series. If Shin Hye-Sun accepts her offer, she will play Seo Ji-An. She grew in a wealthy family, but her father’s business collapsed. She now works as a contract employee at Haesung Company.

Release date for Hong Sang-Soo directed film “The Day After” is now set for July 6, 2017 in South Korea. Movie had its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival in the competition section. Story for the film follows the boss (Kwon Hae-Hyo) of a publishing company who had flings with his employees. After his wife (Kim Sae-Byuk) discovers a love letter at their home, she goes to his office and (mistakenly) assumes a new employee (Kim Min-Hee) is the woman from the letter.
Lee Sang-Woo and Kim So-Yeon will marry today June 9, 2017 at about 7pm at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. The couple starred together in 2016 MBC drama series “Happy Home” and developed a romantic relationship after working together. Jo Won-Geun (Sung Dong-Il) is a rival of Jang Tae-Young and wants his casino. Choi Jin-Gi (Lee Sung-Min) is a psychiatrist for Jang Tae-Young. Song Yoo-Hwa (Sulli) is a therapist at Choi Jin-Gi’s clinic. Sa Do-Jin (Jo Woo-Jin) is a lawyer who only deals with V.I.P. type clientele.

Lim Soo-Jung is cast in new movie “Your Favor” (literal title). Movie is based on 2015 novel “Dangshinui Bootak – My Other Mother” by Lee Dong-Eun. Lee Dong-Eun will also direct the film. Also cast in the film are Yoon Chan-Young and Han Joo-Wan. Story for “Your Favor” has Lim Soo-Jung playing 32-year-old Hyo-Jin. Her husband died in a car accident two years ago. He has a 16-year-old son (Yoon Chan-Young) from a previous marriage. Hyo-Jin decides to live with her teenage stepson.
New teaser poster and commentary trailer added for upcoming movie “The Battleship Island” starring Hwang Jung-Min, So Ji-Sub & Song Joong-Ki. The highly anticipated summer blockbuster film is directed by Ryoo Seung-Wan. The new teaser poster depicts Korean people trying desperately to escape from Battleship Island.
