Kim Moo-Yul cast in OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2”

Kim Moo-Yul is now cast in upcoming OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2.” He will join the main cast of Park Joong-Hoon, Joo Jin-Mo, Yang Ik-June and Ji Soo.

For the drama series, Kim Moo-Yul will play Prosecutor No Jin-Pyeong. The role was originally reserved for Kang Ha-Neul, but he had to drop out of the drama series due to scheduling conflicts. The character of Prosecutor No Jin-Pyeong begins work at the Seowon District Prosecutors’ Office. He gets involved with Woo Je-Moon (Park Joong-Hoon), Heo Il-Hoo (Joo Jin-Mo), Jang Sung-Cheol (Yang Ik-June) and Han Gang-Joo (Ji Soo). They attempt to punish a corrupt privileged group.

“Bad Guys 2” first airs December, 2017 in South Korea.

Cho Jung-Seok cast in MBC drama series “Two Cops” (Han Ji-Min declines)

Actor Cho Jung-Seok is cast for a lead role in upcoming MBC drama series “Two Cops.” He will play Detective Cha Dong-Tak. His character is full of justice, but a swindler’s spirit takes over his body. Meanwhile, actress Han Ji-Min, who was offered the lead female role, has declined due to scheduling issues.

Filming for the drama series will begin October, 2017 and the drama series will first air November, 2017 on Mondays and Tuesdays (airing after the conclusion of “20th Century Boy and Girl.”).

First still images of Shin Hye-Sun in KBS2 drama series “My Golden Life”

Here’s the first still images of Shin Hye-Sun in upcoming KBS2 drama series “My Golden Life” co-starring Park Si-Hoo. The still images are taken from her first day of filming for the drama series which took place July 26, 2017 around Gangseo District, Seoul, South Korea. Setup for the scenes has Seo Ji-An (Shin Hye-Sun) walking down the street, while studying English, to find a job. She drinks a can of beer in front of a convenience store with Sun Woo-Hyuk (Lee Tae-Hwan).

“My Golden Life” first airs September 2, 2017 in South Korea.

First still images of Ha Ji-Won in MBC drama series “Hospital Ship”

Here’s the first still images of Ha Ji-Won in upcoming MBC drama series “Hospital Ship” co-starring Kang Min-Hyuk. As you can see, Ha Ji-Won did get her hair cut to play her character Song Eun-Jae. Her character works as a surgeon on a hospital ship. Ha Ji-Won has been researching her character’s field of expertise by watching documentaries, surgery videos, medical dramas and reading essays by doctors. She is now studying by drawing organs from an anatomy book. Filming for the drama series is taking place mostly on Geoje Island.

Teaser trailer for Naver TV Cast/JTBC web drama series “Hip Hop Teacher”

For better or worse, JTBC has unleashed the first teaser trailer for its upcoming web drama series “Hip Hop Teacher.” The web drama series stars Lee Joo-Young, Yura from idol group ‘Girl’s Day’ and An Woo-Yeon. Story for “Hip Hop Teacher” will follow former underground hip-hop artist Gong Seul-Ki (Lee Joo-Young) who now works as an elementary school teacher.

“Hip Hop Teacher” will first stream on Naver TV Cast on August 14, 2017 in South Korea.

Hyun Woo cast SBS drama series “Bravo My Life”

Hyun Woo is cast for a lead role in SBS drama series “Bravo My Life” co-starring Jung Yoo-Mi and Yeon Jeong-Hun. Story for the drama series will follow three people working at a broadcasting station. Hyun-Woo will play Kim Bum-Woo. He wants to become an actor, but he hasn’t made a debut for 7 years due to stage fright.

First script reading is scheduled to take place July 29, 2017 and the drama series will first air October 7, 2017 in South Koera.

Two main posters for tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name”

Two main posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name” starring Kim Nam-Gil and Kim A-Joong. The poster features Kim Nam-Gil as real life historical figure Heo Im and Kim A-Joong as fictional character Dr. Choi Yeon-Kyung. Heo Im was considered the top oriental doctor during the Joseon period, but the drama series has him traveling through time and arriving in present day Seoul.

“Deserving of the Name” first airs August 12, 2017 in South Korea.
