Lee Seo-Won cast in MBC drama series “Hospital Ship”

Lee Seo-Won is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Hospital Ship” starring Ha Ji-Won & Kang Min-Hyuk (‘CNBLUE’). Lee Seo-Won will play secondary lead male character Kim Jae-Gul. He works as an oriental doctor, has good appearance and comes from a family of doctors. But, when he was a child, his family often compared him to his older brother who was smarter than him and he had conflicts with his father. To anger his father, Kim Jae-Gul chose to become an oriental doctor. Now, he boards the hospital ship and faces Song Eun-Jae (Ha Ji-Won). She insists that oriental medicine is unscientific.

“Hospital Ship” first airs August, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Criminal Minds”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming tvN drama series “Criminal Minds” starring Lee Joon-Gi and Moon Chae-Won.

In addition, the first seven still images have been released from the drama series. The still images are of (left to right from top) Son Hyun-Joo, Lee Joon-Gi, Moon Chae-Won, Lee Sun-Bin, Go Yoon, Yoo-Sun and Kim Young-Chul.  All seven of the characters are agents of the NCI.

Eric (‘Shinhwa’) and Na Hye-Mi marries …

Eric from Kpop group ‘Shinhwa’ and actress Na Hye-Mi married today, July 1, 2017, at Youngnak Church in Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. There were rumors that Eric and Na Hye-Mi were dating back in 2014, but at that time they denied the rumors. Fast forward to February, 2017 and the couple confessed they were dating. The couple have never worked together professionally as of yet.

Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming MBC drama series “Man Who Dies to Live” (literal title) starring Choi Min-Soo and Gang Ye-Won. Story for the drama series follows Jang Dal-Goo (Choi Min-Soo). He lives a luxurious life in a small kingdom in the Middle East, but decides to return to South Korea to find his daughter.

“Man Who Dies to Live” first airs July 19, 2017 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday 10 PM time slot after “Ruler: Master of the Mask“).

Park Joong-Hoon, Kang Ha-Neul & Joo Jin-Mo cast in OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2”

Park Joong-Hoon, Kang Ha-Neul & Joo Jin-Mo are cast in upcoming OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2.” They join Um Tae-Goo who is already cast for one of the primary roles.

For “Bad Guys 2,” Park Joong-Hoon will play Woo Je-Moon. His character works as a prosecutor. Kang Ha-Neul will play No Jin-Pyeong. His character has worked as a prosecutor for 3 years. He becomes shaken after witnessing the death of a mentor. Joo Jin-Mo will play Heo Il-Hoo. He struggles to solve a case where it appears that justice has collapsed.

“Bad Guys 2” will first air sometime during the second half of this year on Saturday and Sunday (takes over weekend time slot after “Black“).

First still images from tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name”

Here’s the first still images of Kim Nam-Gil and Kim A-Joong in upcoming tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name” (literal title). The still images are from the a scene that Heo Im (Kim Nam-Gil) and Choi Yeon-Kyung (Kim A-Joong) meet for the first time. Heo Im somehow travels through time from the Joseon period to present day Seoul. He is a practitioner of oriental medicine and is acknowledged as the best in acupuncture. Meanwhile, Choi Yeon-Kyung (Kim A-Joong) is a surgeon in the present day. She is an excellent surgeon and does not trust traditional oriental medicine.

“Deserving of the Name” first airs August, 2017 in South Korea.
