Teaser trailer #2 and two main posters for MBC drama series “Enemies from the Past”

Here’s 2 main posters for upcoming MBC weekday evening drama series “Enemies from the Past” starring Choi Yoon-Young and Gu Won. Caption on the posters states “…write family and read enemy.” Story for the drama series will revolve around main characters Choi Go-Ya (Choi Yoon-Young) and Min Ji-Seok (Gu Won) and whether they can marry.

In addition, teaser trailer #2 has been added on AsianWiki. “Enemies from the Past” first airs November 27, 2017 in South Korea.

Suho cast in drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman”

Suho (‘EXO’) is cast for the lead male role in upcoming drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman.” The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman .” In addition, actress Ha Yeon-Soo is still considering an offer to play the lead female role in the drama series. For “Rich Man, Poor Woman,” Suho will play the CEO of an IT company.

Exact network and airing dates has yet to be decided for “Rich Man, Poor Woman.”

Teaser trailer #2 for KBS2 drama series “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me”

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” (English title) starring Kim Rae-Won and Shin Se-Kyung. Meanwhile the promotional photos above are of Kim Rae-Won, Shin Se-Kyung and Seo Ji-Hye. The three performers are all holding up handwritten signs encouraging students about to take their college entrance exams (CSAT) to do well. Kim Rae-Won’s sign states “Wish you luck,” while  Shin Se-Kyung’s sign states “CSAT test takers, fighting” and Seo Ji-Hye’s sign states “Don’t get nervous and cheer up to the end of the test… CSAT test takers, fighting.” The CSAT test takes place in South Korea on November 16, 2017.

Teaser #1 for KBS2 drama series “Jugglers”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Jugglers” starring Daniel Choi and Baek Jin-Hee. The teaser trailer begins with supporting actor Kim Chang-Wan asking “what are jugglers?” Narration then by Jung Sung-Ho plays and he explains that “jugglers refers to a group of multitasking secretaries who can carry out various work with either hand. Their ability as a secretary is beyond human limitations.”

“Jugglers” first airs December 4, 2017 in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Happy Sisters”

First script reading for SBS morning weekday drama series “Happy Sisters” took place October 13, 2017 at  SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. Main cast members including Shim Yi-Young, Han Young, Oh Dae-Gyu and Kang Seo-Joon all attended. The drama series will follow the trials and tribulations of two sisters played by Shim Yi-Young and Han Young.

“Happy Sisters” first airs December 4, 2017 in South Korea.

IU cast in tvN drama series “My Ajusshi”

IU is now cast for the lead female role in upcoming tvN drama series “My Ajusshi” co-starring Lee Sun-Kyun. For the drama series, IU will play Lee Ji-An. She is a woman in her 20’s and works as a contract worker at a construction company.  Park Dong-Hoon (Lee Sun-Kyun) works as an engineer at the same construction company. She gets to know Park Dong-Hoon and develops respect for him. Also cast in supporting roles are Oh Dal-Su, Song Sae-Byeok and Na Moon-Hee. Oh Dal-Su will play Park Sang-Hoon. He is the older brother of Park Dong-Hoon. Song Sae-Byeok will play Park Gi-Hoon. He is the younger brother of Park Dong-Hoon. Lastly, Na Moon-Hee will play Byeon Yo-Soon. She is the mother of Park Dong-Hoon, Park Sang-Hoon and Park Gi-Hoon.

Filming for “My Ajusshi” begins December, 2017 and the drama series will air sometime during the first half of 2018 (airing on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10PM after “Mother.”).

Ko Gyung-Pyo & Cho Jae-Hyun cast in tvN drama series “Cross”

Ko Gyung-Pyo and Cho Jae-Hyun are now cast in new tvN drama series “Cross.” Ko Gyung-Pyo will play the lead male character Kang In-Kyu. He became a doctor to take revenge on those who are responsible for his father’s death and he uses medical techniques for revenge. Cho Jae-Hyun will play major supporting character Go Jung-Hoon. He is the chief of an organ transplant center at a hospital. He is an excellent surgeon with humanism. He goes up against Kang In-Kyu (Ko Gyung-Pyo). Meanwhile the lead female character has been offered to Jeon So-Min and she is still considering the offer.

“Cross” will first air January, 2018 in South Korea.

Yeo Jin-Goo offered lead male role in drama series “Love Game: The Great Seduction”

Yeo Jin-Goo has received an offer to play the lead male role in new drama series “Love Game: The Great Seduction” (working and literal title). Currently, Yeo Jin-Goo is considering the offer. The drama series is based on 18th century French novel “Les Liaisons dangereuses” by Choderlos de Laclo. If Yeo Jin-Goo accepts, he will play Kown Shi-Hyun. In addition, MBC is in discussions to air the drama series on Wednesdays and Thursdays in 2018 following “I’m Not a Robot.”

Yoon Doo-Joon cast in KBS2 drama series “Radio Romance”

Yoon Doo-Joon (‘Highlight’) is cast for the lead male role in new KBS2 drama series “Radio Romance” (working title). Story for the drama series will revolve around a top star who becomes a radio DJ. The DJ must then deal with various problems. “Radio Romance” will first air January, 2018 in South Korea. KBS2 hasn’t decided whether the drama series will air on Mondays and Tuesdays or Wednesdays and Thursdays.
