OCN to air drama series “Longing Heart”

Cable channel OCN is now scheduled to air upcoming drama series “Longing Heart” starring Lee Jung-Shin, Lee Yeol-Eum and Seo Ji-Hoon. The drama series was originally scheduled to air on SBS Plus prior to changing to OCN. Filming for the drama series finished on October 25, 2017 and the drama series will air from January, 2018 in South Koera. “Longing Heart” will have 8 episodes and air in OCN’s Monday and Tuesday 9 PM time slot. Story for “Longing Heart” is a romantic-comedy with a time travel element.

Lee Ki-Woo cast in drama series “Four Men”

Lee Ki-Woo is now cast in upcoming drama series “Four Men” starring Park Hae-Jin and Nana. Lee Ki-Woo will play supporting character Kang Il-Kwon. Jo Hyun-Jae was originally cast to play Kang Il-Kwon, but he decided to drop out due to scheduling issues. Kang Il-Kwon is scripted as a bad character. He is the older brother of Kang Il-Hoon (Park Hae-Jin) and the successor of a large company.  He comes into conflict with his younger brother.

Filming for “Four Men” begins November, 2017 and the drama series will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Sung Hoon cast in KBS2 drama series “Sound of Your Heart – Reboot: Jerks”

Sung Hoon is cast for the lead male role in KBS2 drama series “Sound of Your Heart – Reboot: Jerks.” The drama series is a sequel to KBS2 2016 drama series “Sound of Your Heart” starring Lee Kwang-Soo. Sung Hoon will play cartoonist Jo Suk whom Lee Kwang-Soo played in the first drama series. “Sound of Your Heart – Reboot: Jerks” is based on webcomic “Maeumui Sori” by Jo Suk.

Filming begins November, 2017 and the drama series will air sometime next year in South Korea.

L (Kim Myung-Soo) offered lead male role in drama series “Ms. Hammurabi”

L (Kim Myung-Soo) from idol group ‘INFINITE’ has been offered the lead male role in new law themed drama series “Ms. Hammurabi.” The drama series is based on 2015 novel “Ms. Hammurabi” by Moon Yoo-Seok. If L accepts, he will play Im Ba-Reun. His character works as a rookie judge and is guided by principles and individualistic. He tries to make decisions without using personal sympathy.  Although not decided yet, cable channel JTBC is considering airing the drama series in early 2018.

Yoo Seung-Ho on the set of MBC drama series “I’m Not a Robot”

Here’s photos of Yoo Seung-Ho on the filming set of upcoming MBC drama series “I’m Not a Robot” co-starring Chae Soo-Bin. Filming for the drama series began recently in South Korea. In “I’m Not a Robot,” Yoo Seung-Ho plays Kim Min-Kyu. He is a major shareholder of a finance company and is an attractive young man, but he has never had a girlfriend due to his allergy of other people. He falls in love with a woman pretending to be a robot.

“I’m Not a Robot” first airs November, 2017 in South Korea.

Jeon So-Min offered lead female role in tvN drama series “Cross: God’s Gift”

Jeon So-Min has received an offer to play the lead female character in upcoming tvN drama series “Cross: God’s Gift” (working and literal title). Ko Gyung-Pyo and Cho Jae-Hyun have already received offers to play lead male character and major supporting character respectively. Currently, all three performers are positively considering their offers. If Jeon So-Min accepts, she will play Go Ji-In. She works as an organ transplant coordinator and she is a woman of principle.

“Cross: God’s Gift” will air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Still images of Park Shin-Hye’s cameo in SBS drama series “Temperature of Love”

Here’s still images of Park Shin-Hye making a cameo appearance in currently airing SBS drama series “Temperature of Love.” For her cameo appearance, Park Shin-Hye plays top star Yoo Hye-Jung. She reads a screenplay by Hyun-Soo (Seo Hyun-Jin) and likes the script enough to meet Hyun-Soo.

Park Shin-Hye’s character name of Yoo Hye-Jung is the same as the character she played in 2016 SBS drama series “Doctors.” Park Shin-Hye accepted the cameo appearance due to her working relationship with screenwriter Ha Myung-Hee who wrote the screenplays for “Doctors” and “Temperature of Love.”

Park Shin-Hye’s cameo appearance airs in a episode that airs tonight, October 24, 2017 in South Korea..

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” (English title) took place October 8, 2017 at KBS Annex Building in Yeouido, Seoul. At the first script reading, main cast members Kim Rae-Won, Shin Se-Kyung, Seo Ji-Hye, Jang Mi-Hee, and Shin So-Yul all attended. Before the first script reading, screenwriter Kim In-Young stated “I first thought of the story ‘The Black Knight’ in 2007 and it will now see the world 10 years later. I will write a great script sincerely.”

“Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” first airs December, 2017 in South Korea.
