Kang Ji-Hwan and Kim Ok-Vin cast in OCN drama series “Children of The Lesser God”

Kang Ji-Hwan and Kim Ok-Vin are now cast in OCN drama series “Children of The Lesser God” (literal title). The duo will play lead characters in the drama series. Kang Ji-Hwan will play Cheon Jae-In. His character works as a detective and he is highly intelligent. His coworkers usually try to steer clear of him due to his propensity to show off his smarts in front of them. Kim Ok-Vin will play Kim Dan. She is also a detective with a warm heart. She also possesses a superhuman ability pertaining to her vision. They work together to uncover a conspiracy involving a powerful organization.

“Children of The Lesser God” is now scheduled to air sometime in February, 2018 (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Bad Guys: Vile City“).

Teaser trailer #5 and posters for tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey”

Teaser trailer #5 added for upcoming tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey” starring Lee Seung-GiCha Seung-Won and Oh Yeon-Seo. Teaser trailer #5 shows actual footage from the drama series for the first time.

In addition, here’s the first two teaser posters for “A Korean Odyssey.” The poster at the bottom features main cast members Lee Seung-Gi, Cha Seung-Won, Oh Yeon-Seo, Lee Hong-Ki (‘F.T. Island’) and Jang Gwang.

Lee Joon-Hyuk and Gong Myung offered lead male roles in tvN drama series “You Who Forgot Poetry”

Lee Joon-Hyuk and Gong Myung have received offers to play lead male roles in upcoming tvN drama series “You Who Forgot Poetry” (literal title). Lee Yoo-Bi has already received an offer to play the lead female role. All three performers are “positively considering” their offers. The drama series will follow a group of physical therapists, nurses, radiological technologists and trainees.

If Lee Joon-Hyuk accepts, he will play lead male character Ye Jae-Wook. He is a competent physical therapist and teaches physical therapists.

If Gong Myung accepts, he will play second male lead/major supporting character Shin Min-Ho. He is a trainee to become a physical therapy, but he is only in the field because he couldn’t get into medical school.

“You Who Forgot Poetry” first airs January, 2018 in South Korea.

First still images of Lee Bo-Young in tvN drama series “Mother”

Here’s the first still images of Lee Bo-Young in upcoming tvN remake drama series “Mother.” The drama series is a remake of 2010 NTV drama series “Mother” starring Yasuko Matsuyuki in the lead role. Lee Bo-Young’s still images are from a scene which was filmed at an elementary school in Incheon, South Korea. In the drama series, Lee Bo-Young plays Nam Soo-Jin. She starts work as a temporary teacher at an elementary school and meets young Hye-Na (Heo Yool). Hye-Na is abused and needs help.

Lee Ji-Ah cast in tvN drama series “My Ajusshi”

Lee Ji-Ah is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “My Ajusshi” starring Lee Sun-Kyun and IU. In the drama series, Lee Ji-Ah will play major supporting character Kang Yoon-Hee. She is married to Park Dong-Hoon (Lee Sun-Kyun). Meanwhile, Park Dong-Hoon is going through difficult times and a younger woman played by IU goes through similar difficulties. They help each other.

Filming for “My Ajusshi” begins this month and the drama series will first air sometime during the first half of 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser poster for OCN drama series “Longing Heart”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming OCN drama series “Longing Heart” starring Lee Jung-Shin (CNBLUE), Lee Yeol-Eum and Seo Ji-Hoon. Drama series is based on webcomic “Aeganjang” by Kim Hee-Ran & Kim Byung-Gwan. Story for the drama series follows a 28-year-old teacher (Lee Jung-Shin) as he travels back in time to when he was a high school student. He meets his younger self (Seo Ji-Hoon) and struggles to bring together his younger self and his first love (Lee Yeol-Eum).

 

The poster also reveals “Longing Heart” will first air January 8, 2018 in South Korea.

Ha Yeon-Soo cast in drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman”

Ha Yeon-Soo is cast for the lead female role in upcoming remake drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman” co-starring  Suho (‘“EXO’). Also cast in a supporting role is Kim Ye-Won. Oh Chang-Suk was previously announced as a supporting cast member. The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman” starring Shun Oguri and Satomi Ishihara in the lead roles.

For “Rich Man, Poor Woman.” Ha Yeon-Soo will play Kim Bo-Ra. She was born in the countryside on Jeju Island. Kim Bo-Ra was also famous for being a smart kid in her hometown. She goes to Seoul to attend college and carries her family’s high expectations. Her dream is to work at Next One which is led by Lee Yoo-Chan (Suho) as its CEO. Meanwhile, for supporting characters Kim Ye-Won will play Min Tae-Ra. She owns an art gallery and her older brother is Min Tae-Joo (Oh Chang-Suk). Min Tae-Joo is the co-founder of Next One.

Kim So-Hyun cast in KBS drama series “Radio Romance”

Kim So-Hyun is now cast in upcoming KBS drama series “Radio Romance” co-starring Yoon Doo-Joon (‘Highlight’). In the upcoming drama series, Kim So-Hyun will play lead female character Song Geu-Rim. She works as a radio program writer, but she doesn’t possess writing talent. The radio program where she is working on now faces cancellation. Song Geu-Rim succeeds in casting top actor Ji Soo-Ho (Yoon Doo-Joon).
