Teaser trailer #1 added for SBS drama series “Backstreet Rookie” starring Ji Chang-Wook and Kim You-Jung. Teaser trailer #1 shows the drama series is set at a convenience store on a backstreet. A sleepy store manager Choi Dae-Hyun (Ji Chang-Wook) sees Jung Saet-Byeol (Kim You-Jung) walking into his store. At the end of the teaser, Eum Moon-Suk appears in a bubble window and whispers “The wait is almost over, just wait for a little bit more.”

First script reading for tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay”

First script reading for tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay” (literal title), starring Kim Soo-Hyun & Seo Ye-Ji, took place sometime during the first quarter of this year. The script reading was attended by Kim Soo-Hyun, Seo Ye-Ji, Oh Jung-Se, Park Gyu-Young, Kim Joo-Hun, Kim Chang-Wan, Kim Mi-Kyung, Jang Young-Nam, Lee Eol, Kang Ki-Doong, and Park Jin-Joo. The drama series depicts a romance between Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun), who refuses love due to heavy burdens in his life, and Ko Moon-Young (Seo Ye-Ji), who was born without knowing about love.

Ko Soo and Heo Jun-Ho are cast for lead roles in OCN drama series “Missing.” Also cast for supporting roles are Ahn So-Hee, Seo Eun-Su, and Ha-Joon. The drama series features a mixture of supernatural, mystery, thriller elements into its screenplay.

Kim Wook (Ko Soo) is a smooth talker and a good-looking man. He commits fraud to make a living. One day, he happens to arrive at Duon Village, where the missing dead gather. He soon faces numerous mysteries.

Jang Pan-Seok (Heo Jun-Ho) is a mysterious figure. He secretly looks for missing people. He is the connection between Duon Village and the outside world. He becomes a fraud partner with Kim Wook and he solves cases.

Lee Jong-A (Ahn So-Hee) is Kim Wook’s supporter. She is a white hat hacker out to gain social justice. She works as a law-ranking public officer at a community center as her day job.

Shin Joon-Ho (Ha-Joon) is an elite detective. One month prior to his wedding with Choi Yeo-Na (Seo Eun-Su), his fiancé disappeared. To find her, he applies for the missing person squad.

“Missing” first airs August, 2020 in OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot.

Main poster & teaser trailer #3 for MBC drama series “Kkondae Intern”

Main poster and teaser trailer #3 added for MBC drama series “Kkondae Intern” starring Park Hae-Jin and Kim Eung-Soo. The humorous teaser trailer #3 shows Ka Yeol-Chan (Park Hae-Jin) critiquing his former boss-now intern Lee Man-Shik (Kim Eung-Soo) on how to make ramen. Some of the nuggets of wisdom he imparts on his intern are “Why don’t you put the lid on it? Do you have any idea how much thermal efficiency you are losing?,” “Who puts in the sauce first? Do you flush the toilet before you take a dump?” and “Why are you putting in the green onions now? You’re supposed to put it in last so the aroma doesn’t go away!” Meanwhile, caption on the teaser poster asks “Do I still look like an intern?”

“Kkondae Intern” first airs May 20, 2020 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Find Me in Your Memory“).

Uhm Ji-Won & Park Ha-Sun cast in tvN drama series “Postnatal Care Center”

Uhm Ji-Won and Park Ha-Sun are cast in tvN drama series “Postnatal Care Center” (literal title). Jang Hye-Jin is also cast in a supporting role, while actor Yoon Park  has received an offer to play the lead male role. Currently, Yoon Park is considering his offer. Story for the drama series will revolve around a postnatal care center where mothers and their newborn babies stay prior to returning their homes. Uhm Ji-Won will play lead female character Oh Hyun-Jin.

“Postnatal Care Center” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Backstreet Rookie”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Backstreet Rookie” (English title), starring Ji Chang-Wook and Kim You-Jung, took place around February, 2020 in South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members Ji Chang-Wook, Kim You-Jung, Han Sun-Hwa, Ahn Sol-Bin, Lee Byung-Joon, Woo Hyeon and others. “Backstreet Rookie” (literal title “Convenience Store Saet-Byeol”) is based on webcomic “Pyeonuijeom Saetbyeoli” by Hwalhwasan.

Ep.1 air date is also now set for June 12, 2020  in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10 PM time slot after “The King: Eternal Monarch“).
