Ong Seong-Wu, Shin Ye-Eun, & Kim Dong-Joon cast in JTBC drama series “Number of Cases”

Ong Seong-Wu and Shin Ye-Eun are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Number of Cases” (literal title). Actor Kim Dong-Joon is also cast for a major supporting character role. The literal title was previously “Number of Cases to Go From Friends to Lovers,” but shortened to just “Number of Cases.”

For the drama series Ong Seong-Wu will play Lee Soo. He is a photographer, competent at his job and has a handsome appearance. He is also confident and selfish when it comes to love. Shin Ye-Eun will play Kyung Woo-Yeon. She is a calligrapher. She becomes completely absorbed in anything she takes an interest in. She has held feelings for Lee Soo for the past 10 years. Kim Dong-Joon will play On Joon-Soo. He is the CEO of Eunyoo Publishing Company. He falls in love with Kyung Woo-Yeon.

“Number of Cases” will air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

tvN cuts drama series “A Piece of Your Mind” to 12 episodes

tvN has announced that currently airing drama series “A Piece of Your Mind” will be shortened to 12 episodes. The drama series was originally scheduled to have 16 episodes and end on May 12, 2020, but the drama series will now finish on April 28, 2020. tvN said the reduction in episodes would help increase the pace of the story. Currently, the ratings for the drama series are quite low, receiving 2.4% for ep.1 and going lower each week with ep.6 receiving 1.2%. The drama series stars Jung Hae-In and Chae Soo-Bin, with a love story centering around an AI assistant modeled after the male character’s first love.
