Ep.1 air date for JTBC drama series “Model Detective”

Ep.1 air date for JTBC drama series “Model Detective” (literal title), starring Son Hyun-Joo, Jang Seung-Jo, and Lee Elijah, is now set for July 6, 2020. Filming for the drama series began November 19, 2019 and finished May, 2020. Currently, only post production is left before the drama series airs. The screenplay follows two detectives Kang Do-Chang (Son Hyun-Joo) and Oh Ji-Hyeok (Jang Seung-Jo ), who have totally opposite personalities & investigation techniques, work together to uncover a secret.

First teaser trailer and teaser poster added for horror film “Stigmatized Properties” starring Kazuya Kamenashi and Nao. The red caption on the teaser poster states “One entertainer has to try to stay in rooms with history of accidental deaths, murder, suicide, and fire. True story.” The film is directed by Hideo Nakata and based on nonfiction book “Jiko Bukken Kaidan: Kowai Madori” by Tanishi Matsubara.

“Stigmatized Properties” will be released August 28, 2020 in Japan.

Here’s the first teaser poster for JTBC drama series “Elegant Friends” (literal title) starring Yu Jun-Sang and Song Yoon-A. Won Jin-A and Ro Woon (‘SF9’) are cast in JTBC drama series “Senior, Don’t Put on That Lipstick” (literal title). The two will play lead characters who work cosmetic marketing together. Ro Woon will play Chae Hyun-Seung and Won Jin-A will play Yoon Song-A.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoon Song-A (Won Jin-A) works as a marketer for a cosmetic brand. She enjoys her job and does it with vigor. Her dream is to start her own cosmetic brand. Meanwhile, Chae Hyun-Seung (Ro Woon) works with Yoon Song-A as a marketer. He becomes attracted to Yoon Song-A and tries to develop a romantic relationship with her. However, Yoon Song-A rebuffs his advances, because she does not see younger guys as dating partners.

Ji Hyun-Woo & Kim So-Eun are cast for lead roles in MBC every1 drama “Love is Annoying, But I Hate Being Lonely” (literal title). The drama series will be directed by Lee Hyun-Joo (“Imaginary Cat“) and scripted by Jo Jin-Kuk (“Fated To Love You“). For the drama series Ji Hyun-Woo will play psychiatrist Cha Kang-Woo and Kim So-Eun will play editor Lee Na-Eun. The story revolves around people living together at co-living house.

“Love is Annoying, But I Hate Being Lonely” first airs sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

tvN drama series “Flower of Evil” to air July, 2020

tvN drama series “Flower of Evil,” starring Lee Joon-Gi & Moon Chae-Won, will air from July, 2020 in South Korea. The drama series will slot into tvN’s Wednesday & Thursday 11PM time slot after “Oh My Baby.” tvN also revealed photos from the first script reading which took place sometime earlier this year. Attending the first script reading were director Kim Cheol-Kyu, screenwriter Yoo Jung-Hee, Lee Joon-Gi, Moon Chae-Won, Jang Hee-Jin, Seo Hyun-Woo, Nam Gi-Ae, Lim Chul-Hyung, and Choi Dae-Hoon. The script revolves around Detective Cha Ji-Won (Moon Chae-Won) as she chases for the truth behind her husband Baek Hee-Sung (Lee Joon-Gi). Is her husband a serial killer?
