Kim Myung-Soo, Kwon Na-Ra, Lee Yi-Kyung and Lee Tae-Hwan are cast in KBS2 drama series “Secret Royal Inspector” (literal title). The drama series is set at the end of the Joseon era and will have Kim Myung-Soo playing lead character Sung Yi-Gyeom. He is a civil servant, but becomes a secret royal inspector as punishment for gambling. Kwon Na-Ra will play inspector Hong Da-In. She works on cases with Sung Yi-Gyeom.
Air date for “Secret Royal Inspector” has not yet been revealed.

Bae Doo-Na, Gong Yoo, & Lee Joon are cast in Netflix sci-fi drama series “The Sea of Tranquility.” The drama series is produced by actor Jung Woo-Sung and is based on 2014 short film “The Sea of Tranquility.” For actor Lee Joon, “The Sea of Tranquility” is his first acting role since he was discharged from the South Korean military on December 19, 2019.
In “The Sea of Tranquility,” Bae Doo-Na will play Song Ji-An. She is an astrobiologist and joins a team to find out what happened at a research station on the moon. Gong Yoo will play Han Yoon-Jae. He leads the team that travels to the moon research station. His primary goal is to retrieve a mysterious sample. Lee Joon will play Ryu Tae-Seok. He is an army captain and volunteers to join Han Yoon-Jae’s team.
“The Sea of Tranquility” will be available to stream on Netflix, but a specific date has not been revealed.

Gianna Jun & Ju Ji-Hoon are cast in drama series “Jiri Mountain” (literal title of “Jirisan”). The drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Hee (previously worked with actor Ju Ji-Hoon in Netflix drama series “Kingdom” & “Kingdom Season 2“) and directed by Lee Eung-Bok (“Mr. Sunshine“). For the drama series, Gianna Jun and Ju Ji-Hoon will play rangers who work together at Jiri Mountain National Park.
Filming will begin September, 2020 in South Korea. The network which will screen the drama series has yet to be decided.
