Group poster for KBS2 drama “The Zombie Detective”

Group poster added for KBS2 drama series “The Zombie Detective” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk & Park Joo-Hyun.

The drama series was originally scheduled to air from August 31, 2020, but its premiere has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. In particular, currently airing drama series “Men are Men” was supposed to finished on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, but supporting actor Seo Sung-Jong, who participated in filming for the drama series on August 14, 2020, tested positive for Covid-19 on August 19, 2020. All staff members and performers who were in contact with Seo Sung-Jong during filming of “Men are Men” then underwent testing for Covid-19 and they all came out negative. Filming for “Men are Men” stopped on August 19, 2020 and filming resumes August 24, 2020. “Men are Men” will air its last episode on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020. “The Zombie Detective” will then take over KBS2’s Monday and Tuesday time slot sometime after September 1st.

Mikako Tabe & Takanori Iwata cast in movie “Living In Your Sky”

Mikako Tabe & Takanori Iwata (“J Soul Brothers” & “EXILE”) are cast in movie “Living In Your Sky.” The film is based on 2013 novel “Sora ni Sumu” by Masato Odake and directed by Shinji Aoyama (“Sad Vacation“). Also cast in the film are Yukino KishiiRie MimuraShingo TsurumiHisafumi IwashitaHiroshi TakahashiNao OmoriMasatoshi Nagase, and Akira Emoto. The film will follow the lives of women in their 20’s and 30’s, including Naomi played by Mikako Tabe.

“Living In Your Sky” will be released October 23, 2020 in Japan.

Kim Hye-Yoon cast in drama series “Snowdrop”

Kim Hye-Yoon is cast for lead role in drama series “Snowdrop” co-starring Blackpink’s Kim Ji-Soo. For “Snowdrop,” Kim Hye-Yoon will reunite with director Jo Hyun-Tak and screenwriter Yoo Hyun-Mi. All three previously worked together in hit 2018 JTBC drama series “SKY Castle.” Meanwhile, the lead male role has been offered to actor Jung Hae-In and he is currently considering the offer.

Details on Kim Hye-Yoon’s character description has not yet been revealed or when the drama series will air.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “If I Cheat, I Die” (literal title), starring Cho Yeo-Jeong & Go Joon, took place June 22, 2020 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The first script reading was attended by Cho Yeo-Jeong, Go Joon, Kim Young-Dae, Yeon Woo, Song Ok-Suk, Jung Sang-Hoon, Lee Si-Un, Kim Ye-Won, Hong Soo-Hyun, Oh Min-Suk, Lee Se-Na, Bae Noo-Ri, Kim Jung-Pal, Kim Do-Hyun, Han Soo-Yeon, Kong Sang-A, Yoo Joon-Hong, director Kim Hyung-Suk, and screenwriter Lee Sung-Min. Genre for “If I Cheat, I Die” has comedy, mystery, and thriller elements. Cho Yeo-Jeong plays crime novelist Kang Ye-Joo. She always thinks about different ways to murder people for her novels. Her husband is lawyer Han Woo-Sung (Go Joon).

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Love Blooming House” (working English title), starring Lee Jang-Woo & Jin Ki-Joo, took place July, 2020 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The first script readingwas attended by screenwriter Yoon Kyung-A, director Hong Seok-Ku, Lee Jang-Woo, Jin Ki-Joo, Jeon In-Hwa, Jung Bo-Suk, Hwang Shin-Hye, Jin Kyung, Kim Sun-Young, In Gyo-Jin, Han Bo-Reum, Jeon Sung-Woo, Bona, Ryeo Un, and Kim Si-Eun. After the first script reading, veteran actor Jung Bo-Suk made the bold statement of “This is the funnest script I ever went through in my 34 years of acting.”
