Teaser trailer #1 for JTBC drama series “Hush”


Teaser trailer #1 added for JTBC drama series “Hush” starring Hwang Jung-Min & Yoona. The drama series followers a group of reporters including Han Joon-Hyeok (Hwang Jung-Min) and rookie reporter Lee Ji-Soo (Yoona). “Hush” is only the third drama series that veteran actor Hwang Jung-Min has performed in.

“Hush” first airs December 11, 2020 in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Friday & Saturday 10:50 PM time slot after “More Than Friends“).

Here’s the first still images of Kwon Na-Ra & Kim Myung-Soo in KBS2 drama series “Secret Royal Inspector” (literal title). For Kwon Na-Ra she plays Hong Da-In. She is the daughter of a royal family, bu,t due to her tragic family history, she hides her identity. She becomes a member of the secret royal inspection team that is led by Sung Yi-Gyeom (Kim Myung-Soo).

First script reading for tvN drama “Queen Cheorin”

First script reading for tvN drama series “Queen Cheorin” (literal title), starring Shin Hye-Sun & Kim Jung-Hyun, took place recently in South Korea. Along with director Yun Seong-Sik and screenwriters Park Kye-Ok & Choi A-Il, main cast members that attended included Shin Hye-Sun, Kim Jung-Hyun, Bae Jong-Ok, Kim Tae-Woo, Yoo Min-Kyu, Na In-Woo, Kim In-Kwon, Ko In-Beom, Jeon Bae-Su, and Son Kwang-Eop. The genre for the drama series is a fusion historical-comedy.

“Queen Cheorin” first airs December, 2020 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Start-Up“).

Teaser trailer #2 for OCN drama “The Uncanny Counter”

Teaser trailer #2 added for OCN drama series “The Uncanny Counter” (English title) starring Joe Byeong-Gyu, Yu Jun-Sang, & Kim Se-Jeong. The drama series is based on webcomic “Kyeongirowoon Somoon” written by Jang Yi and previously went under the literal title of “Amazing Rumor.”

Meanwhile, below are still images of Joe Byeong-Gyu and Kim Se-Jeong (Gugudan) in the drama series. Joe Byeong-Gyu plays So Moon. He becomes a member of “Counter” due to his special physical ability. Kim Se-Jeong plays Do Ha-Na. She is also a member of “Counter.” She can sense evil spirits from hundreds of kilometers away.

Teaser trailer #2 for tvN drama “Awaken”

Two versions of teaser trailer #2 added for tvN drama series “Awaken” starring Namgung Min, Seol Hyun, & Lee Chung-Ah. One version of teaser trailer #2 features Lee Chung-Ah as Jamie and the other version features Seol Hyun as Kong Hye-Won. From the 24 second mark in Lee Chung-Ah’s teaser trailer #2, she provides narration that states “The answer I have been looking for, I wonder if you have that.” From the 17 second mark in Seol Hyun’s teaser trailer #2, she states “I liked this person from the beginning. Good or evil, which comes first?”

“Awaken” first airs November 30, 2020 in South Korea.

Ji Soo cast in drama “The Moon Rising River”

Ji Soo is cast for the lead male role drama series “The Moon Rising River” (literal title) co-starring Kim So-Hyun. Also announced to play major supporting characters are Lee Ji-Hoon & Choi Yu-Hwa. Actor Kang Ha-Neul was previously announced to make a special appearance as the lead male character’s father. The drama series is based on Korean folk tale “On Dal.” For the drama series, Ji Soo will play the title character from the folktale On Dal. His character is an innocent and nonviolent person. He falls in love with Princess Pyong Gang (Kim So-Hyun). Meanwhile, Lee Ji-Hoon will play Go Gun. His character is the general of Goguryeo and he also falls in love with Pyong Gang. Lastly, Choi Yu-Hwa will play Hae Mo-Yong. Her character is a mysterious woman with a beautiful appearance and a special power to foresee the future. She carries a secret and also holds feelings for Go Gun.

“The Moon Rising River” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

First script reading for JTBC drama “Hush”

First script reading for JTBC drama series “Hush,” starring Hwang Jung-Min & Yoona, took place September, 2020 in South Korea. Attending the first script reading were director Choi Kyoo-Sik, screenwriter Kim Jung-Min,  Hwang Jung-Min, Yoona, Son Byung-HoKim Won-HaePark Ho-San, Lee Seung-Joon, Yoo-Sun , Kim Jae-Chul, Kyung Soo-Jin and Jung Joon-Won. Before script reading started, director Choi Kyoo-Sik stated “I am honored to work with such a good script and cast members. This drama series has a serious message. I want to make a drama series which is warm, humane, and fun.”
