Still images and ep.1 air date added for “Live On” starring Minhyun & Jung Da-Bin. The character still images above and below are of Minhyun (NU’EST) as Go Eun-Taek, Jung Da-Bin as Baek Ho-Rang, Ro Jong-Hyun as Do Woo-Jae, Yang Hye-Ji as Ji So-Hyun, Yeon Woo as Kang Jae-Yi and Choi Byung-Chan (Victon) as Kim Yoo-Shin.  

Ep.1 of “Live On” is now set to air November 17, 2020 in South Korea. The drama series will air 1 episode a week on Tuesdays at 9:30 PM.

Kim Ok-Vin & Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in OCN drama “Dark Hole”

Kim Ok-Vin and Lee Joon-Hyuk are cast for lead roles in OCN drama series “Dark Hole.” The drama series features Kim Ok-Vin playing Seoul Detective Lee Hwa-Sun. She chases after her husband’s killer. The script will have her traveling to a city where Yoo Tae-Han (Lee Joon-Hyuk) lives. A mysterious dark smoke there causes people to turn into monsters. The drama series is directed by Kim Bong-Joo (“The Phone“) and scripted by  Jung Yi-Do (“Save Me“/”Strangers From Hell“).

“Dark Hole” first airs during the first half of 2021 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 for MBC drama “The Spies Who Loved Me”

Teaser trailer #3 added for MBC drama series “The Spies Who Loved Me” starring Yoo In-Na, Eric, & Lim Ju-Hwan. Yoo In-Na’s narration at the start of the trailer states in Korean (0:01-0:25) “I have two husbands. On one side is my ex-husband, like an enemy. He is a travel writer and travels the world with a friendly smile. On the other side is my present & loved husband. He has the best qualification for a husband, which is being sweet and well mannered. Someone is lying.” She then states (0:33-0:40) “You got caught. Now tell me the truth.” Meanwhile, above and below are two special posters for the drama series.

Choi Gang-Hee cast in KBS2 drama “Hi? It’s Me!”

Choi Gang-Hee is cast in KBS2 drama series “Hi? It’s Me!” (literal title). Choi Gang-Hee will play lead female character Ban Ha-Ni. Actor Kim Young-Kwang was offered the lead male role and has not yet officially confirmed that he has accepted. The drama series is based on 2011 novel “Fantastic Girl” by Kim Hye-Jung. Choi Gang-Hee’s character Ban Ha-Ni will meet her younger 17-year-old self in the drama series.

“Hello? It’s Me!” will first air January, 2021 in South Korea.

Jung So-Min & Kim Ji-Suk cast in JTBC drama “Monthly House”

Jung So-Min and Kim Ji-Suk are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Monthly House” (literal title). The new drama series will be directed by Lee Chang-Min (“Welcome to Waikiki“) and scripted by Myung Soo-Hyun (“A Poem A Day“). For the drama series, Jung So-Min will play Monthly House magazine editor Na Young-Won and Kim Ji-Suk will play Monthly House magazine CEO Yoo Ja-Sung.

“Monthly House” will first air sometime during the first half of this year in South Korea.

Kang Ha-Neul cast for special appearance in drama “The Moon Rising River”

Kang Ha-Neul is cast for a special appearance role in drama series “The Moon Rising River” (literal title) starring Kim So-Hyun. For his special appearance, Kang Ha-Neul will play On Hyeob. His character is the father of lead male character On Dal. The drama series is based on the folk tale of On Dal, which is contained in historical compilation “Samguk Sagi” (The History of the Three Kingdoms of Korea).

MBC has held discussions to air the drama series, but an agreement has not been met. The drama series will air sometime next year in South Korea.

First two teaser trailers for SBS drama series “Fly Dragon” starring Kwon Sang-Woo & Bae Sung-Woo. Teaser trailer #1 is a character teaser of Kwon Sang-Woo as Attorney Park Tae-Yong. Caption in his teaser trailer states (0:12) “Rags to Riches.” Teaser trailer #2 is a character teaser of Bae Sung-Woo as Reporter Park Sam-Soo. Caption in his teaser trailer states (0:24) “Reporter speaks in an article.”

“Fly Dragon” first airs October 30, 2020 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10 PM time slot after “Alice“).

Jung Hae-In cast in JTBC drama series “Snowdrop”

Jung Hae-In is cast for the lead male role in JTBC drama series “Snowdrop” co-starring Kim Ji-Soo from Kpop group “Blackpink.” Already announced major supporting cast members include Kim Hye-Yoon, Jang Seung-Jo, Yoon Se-Ah, and Jung Eugene. The drama series is set in 1987 and Jung Hae-In will play Im Soo-Ho. He hides in a women’s dormitory after being bloodied, presumably during student demonstrations.

“Snowdrop” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.
