Lee Joon-Gi, Jang Dong-Gun, Shin Se-Kyung, & Kim Ok-Vin cast in tvN drama “Arthdal Chronicles 2”

Lee Joon-GiJang Dong-GunShin Se-Kyung, and Kim Ok-Vin are cast in tvN drama series “Arthdal Chronicles 2.” Lee Joon-Gi and Shin Se-Kyung are replacing Song Joong-Ki and Kim Ji-Won from season 1 of “Arthdal Chronicles” and will play the characters of Eunseom and Tanya respectively. Jang Dong-Gun and Kim Ok-Vin will reprise their characters Tagon and Taealha in season 2. Above and below are the first still images of the four leads in “Arthdal Chronicles 2.”

“Arthdal Chronicles 2” first airs sometime next year in South Korea.

Shin Hye-Sun & Ahn Bo-Hyun cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “See You in My 19th Life.”

Shin Hye-Sun & Ahn Bo-Hyun are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “See You in My 19th Life.” Also cast for major supporting character roles are Ha Yoon-Kyung & Ahn Dong-Goo. The drama series is based on webcomic “See You in My 19th Life” by Lee Hye. The fantasy-romance screenplay will have Shin Hye-Sun play Ban Ji-Eum, a woman who has reincarnated into her 19th life. In her previous 18th life and as a kid, she knew a boy and became close to him. She meets him again in her 19th life. That man is named Moon Seo-Ha and played by Ahn Bo-Hyun. Ha Yoon-Kyung will play the younger sister of the lead female character from her 18th life. Ahn Dong-Goo will play the secretary of lead male character Moon Seo-Ha.

“See You in My 19th Life” will first air sometime during the first half of 2023 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer 3 for tvN drama “Behind Every Star”

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “Behind Every Star” starring Lee Seo-Jin, Kwak Sun-Young, Seo Hyun-Woo, & Joo Hyun-Young. The teaser trailer features the cameo appearances of Cho Yeo-JeongJin Sun-KyuLee Hee-JunKim Soo-MiSeo Hyo-Rim, and Soo-Hyun. They will all appear in different episodes as actors and actresses managed by Ma Tae-O (Lee Seo-Jin), Cheon Je-In (Kwak Sun-Young), Kim Joong-Don (Seo Hyun-Woo) and So Hyun-Joo (Joo Hyun-Young). For Cho Yeo-Jeong, she will appear in an episode by herself. Jin Sun-Kyu and Lee Hee-Jun will appear in an episode together. Their appearance follows their real past when they played together in the same theater company. Kim Soo-Mi and Seo Hyo-Rim will appear together in an episode and follow their real relationship as mother-in-law and daugher-in-law. Lastly, Soo-Hyun will also appear in an individual episode.

“Behind Every Star” first airs November 7, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:30 PM time slot after “Mental Coach Jegal“).

Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “Mental Coach Jegal” starring Jung Woo & Lee Yoo-Mi. The trailer begins with Jung Woo cursing “South Korean national athletes f*ck you!” Around the 21 second mark, Lee Yoo-Mi states “You gave up. Just gave up. Blaming people and blaming the world. You ran away.” Meanwhile, Lee Yoo-Mi recently won an Emmy for outstanding guest actress for her role in “Squid Game.” She is the first South Korean to win an individual acting award at the Emmys.

Ep.1 trailer for tvN drama “Little Women”

Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “Little Women” starring Kim Go-Eun, Nam Ji-Hyun, & Park Ji-Hu. The drama series features an original screenplay Jung Seo-Kyoung, who wrote screenplays for Park Chan-Wook movies “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance,” “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK,” “Thirst,” “The Handmaiden,” and “Decision to Leave.” Jung Seo-Kyoung also stated that the English title of the drama series “Little Women” was chosen as a sign of appreciation for the American classic novel “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott and to show solidarity for the plight of poor young girls all over the world from the past and present. Below are still images of the three female leads who play sisters in th drama series.

Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Hae-Sook, & Choi Won-Young cast in tvN drama “Shuroop”

Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Hae-Sook, & Choi Won-Young are cast in tvN drama series “Shuroop.” Also cast for the drama series are Kim Eui-Sung, Moon Sang-Min, Kang Chan-Hee, Ok Ja-Yeon, Kim Ga-Eun, Yoo Seon-Ho, Yoon Sang-Hyeon, and Kim Min-Ki. The drama series is set during historical times and will have Kim Hye-Soo play Queen Hwaryeong. She must deal with her troublemaker sons and guide them in the right direction using education. The title of the drama series “Shuroop” is an old Korean word for “Woosan” (literally “Umbrella”). The first script reading and filming began around April, 2022 in South Korea.

“Shuroop” will first air October, 2022 in South Korea.
