First teaser poster for tvN drama “Our Blooming Youth”

First teaser poster for tvN drama series “Our Blooming Youth” (English title) starring Park Hyung-Sik & Jeon So-Nee. The drama series, set in the Joseon era, revolves around the Crown Prince (Park Hyung-Sik) and a woman (Jeon So-Nee) falsely accused of murdering her family. The teaser poster shows Park Hyung-Sik as Crown Prince Lee Hwan standing in a dark room, but walking towards the light. Caption on the teaser poster states “Who should I trust and who should I suspect?”

“Our Blooming Youth” will first air February 6, 2023 in South Korea.

Park Hyung-Sik & Jeon So-Nee cast in tvN drama “Youth, Climb the Barrier”

Park Hyung-Sik & Jeon So-Nee are cast in tvN drama series “Youth, Climb the Barrier” (literal title). The drama series is set in the Joseon era. Park Hyung-Sik will play Lee Hwan. He is the crown prince, but also a lonely man. Jeon So-Nee will play Min Jae-Yi. She is a genius, but gets framed for murdering her family. They somehow meet and fall in love.

“Youth, Climb the Barrier” will first air February 6, 2023 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Missing: The Other Side 2”).

Teaser trailer 2 added for tvN drama series “Crash Course in Romance” starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyoung-Ho. In teaser trailer 2, Jeon Do-Yeon introducing herself as “I’m Nam Haeng-Sun, who was a player on national handball team, and now runs National Athletic Side Dish Store,” followed by Jung Kyoung-Ho stating (0:05) “Man of one trillion won,” and Jeon Do-Yeon stating (0:08) “He is a top star lecturer and he is like BTS of the private education field.” These two people, who seem to not have many things in common, somehow get involved with each other in the drama series.

Teaser poster and air date set for tvN drama series “Crash Course in Romance” starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyoung-Ho. The drama series is now set to first air January 14, 2023 in South Korea. “Crash Course in Romance” will air in tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9 PM time slot after the conclusion of “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.” The screenplay for “Crash Course in Romance” tells a bittersweet romance story between side dish store owner Nam Haeng-Sun (Jeon Do-Yeo) and popular math instructor Choi Chi-Yeol (Jung Kyoung-Ho).

Ep.1 trailer for tvN drama “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow”

Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow” starring Lee Jae-Wook and Ko Yoon-Jung. The drama series follows “Alchemy of Souls,” which aired earlier this year and will have actress Ko Yoon-Jung move into the lead female spot as Naksu. Narration in the ep.1 trailer has Ko Yoon-Jung stating (0:09) “Sin of being alive” and Lee Jae-Wook stating (0:10) “Sin that shouldn’t exist, but exists.”

Go Bo-Gyeol cast in tvN drama “Holy Idol”

Go Bo-Gyeol is cast for the lead female character role in tvN drama series “Holy Idol” (literal title) co-starring Kim Min-Kyu. Also announced today to play major supporting character roles in the drama series are Lee Jang-Woo, Tak Jae-Hoon, and Ye Ji-Won. “Holy Idol” is based on web novel “Sungseureowoon Idol” by Shin Hwa-Jin.

For Go Bo-Gyeol, she will play Kim Dal. Her character is a fan of idol group “Wild Animal” and she even becomes their manager to save band member Woo Yeon-Woo. His body is occupied by a strange man named Pontifex Lembrary (Kim Min-Kyu). For the supporting actors, Lee Jang-Woo will play Vice Chairman Shin Zo-Woon, Tak Jae-Hoon will play singer Sun Woo-Sil, and Ye Ji-Won will play entertainment company CEO Im Sun-Ja.

“Holy Idol” will first air sometime during the first of 2023 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for tvN drama “Missing: The Other Side 2”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Missing: The Other Side 2” starring Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, and Ahn So-Hee. The drama series is a sequel to 2020 drama series “Missing: The Other Side.” The first teaser shows Ko Soo as Kim Wook following a wondering boy on a busy street. The boy sees a missing person leaflet on the ground with his own picture on it. Ko Soo picks up the flyer and sees writing on the back of the flyer that asks “Mister, please find me.” Around the 41 second mark, Ko Soo provides narration with “I meet them again who have disappeared.”

“Missing: The Other Side 2” first airs December, 2022 in South Korea (will takeover tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 10:30 time slot after “Behind Every Star“).
