Shotaro Mamiya is cast in WOWOW live-action drama series “Hustlin Boy.” The drama series is based on manga series of same name by Shinya Kusaka and Yuki Honda. Kosuke Suzuki (“Shylock’s Children“) will direct the drama series. Shotaro Mamiya will play Tamotsu Kubota. Trailer and poster added for movie “Henna Ie” starring Shotaro Mamiya and Jiro Sato. “Henna Ie” is based on the 2021 mystery novel of same name by Uketsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa (“Strawberry Night“). The movie’s theme song has also been announced as “Frail” by singer Aina The End. The theme song is played during the main trailer.

For “Acma: Game,” Shotaro Mamiya will play Teruasa Oda. He is the heir of a company, but he has spent most of his life researching the secret of the devil’s key. He returns to Japan and takes part in the “Acma: Game,” in pursuit of the devil’s key.

Shotaro Mamiya is cast for the lead role in movie “Hakai.” The movie is based on 1906 novel Hakai” by Toson Shimazaki. Also cast for the major supporting character roles are Anna Ishii, Yuma Yamoto, & Hidekazu Mashima. For the movie, Shotaro Mamiya will play Ushimatsu Segawa. He comes from an untouchable caste, but hides that from others. He becomes influenced by Rentarou Inoko (Hidekazu Mashima), who also comes from the same caste and has become a rights activist for them.
