Masataka Kubota cast in live-action Fuji TV drama series “We Did It”

Masataka Kubota is cast in live-action Fuji TV drama series “We Did It” (literal title of “Boku-tachi ga Yarimashita”). For the drama series, Masataka Kubota will play main character Tobio Masubuchi. Also cast in supporting roles are Mei Nagano, Mackenyu, Shotaro Mamiya, Shono Hayama, Hiroki Konno, Rina Kawaei, Sae Okazaki, Itsuji Itao, Ikue Sakakibara, Asami MizukawaShohei Miura and Arata Furuta. The drama series is based on manga “Boku-tachi ga Yarimashita” by Muneyuki Kaneshiro.

“We Did It” first airs July, 2017 in Japan.

Shotaro Mamiya cast in live-action NTV drama series “You Don’t Know Gunma Yet”

Shotaro Mamiya is cast in live-action NTV drama series “You Don’t Know Gunma Yet.” The drama series is based on the webcomic “Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai” by Hiroto Ida. In the drama series, Shotaro Mamiya will play main character Nori Kamitsuki. He transfers to a high school in Gunma Prefecture. He is in for a shock due to the regions cultural differences. He also becomes involved in a fight with the area’s rivals.

“You Don’t Know Gunma Yet” first airs March 6, 2017 in Japan.

Supporting cast for live-action film “Teiichi’s Country”

Cast in supporting roles for upcoming live-action film are “Teiichi’s Country” starring Masaki Suda are: Shuhei Nomura, Ryoma Takeuchi, Shotaro Mamiya, Jun Shison, Yudai Chiba, Mei Nagano & Kotaro Yoshida. The film is based on manga series “Teiichi no Kuni” by Usamaru Furuya and directed by Akira Nagai.

In “Teiichi’s Country,” Shuhei Nomura will play Kikuma Togo. He was the childhood friend of Teiichi (Masaki Suda) and is now hostile to Teiichi. He has an ability to collect information.

Ryoma Takeuchi will play Dan Otaka. He is a student with a bright, faithful and honest personality.

Shotaro Mamiya will play Rorando Himuro. He is a 2nd grade high school student and a candidate for the school’s student council president position.

Jun Shison will play Komei Sakakibara. He is a popular student at the high school.

Yudai Chiba will play Okuto Morizo. He is also a 2nd grade high school student and a candidate for the school’s student council president position.

Mei Nagano will play Mimiko Shiratori. She secretly dates with Teiichi.

Kotaro Yoshida will play Josuke Akaba. He is the father of Teiichi.

Main trailer for movie “Litchi Hikari Club”

Main trailer added for live-action film “Litchi Hikari Club” starring Shuhei Nomura, Yuki Furukawa, Shotaro Mamiya & Ayami Nakajo. Movie is based on manga “Litchi☆Hikari Club” by Usamaru Furuya and Eisuke Naito (“Let’s Make the Teacher Have a Miscarriage Club“). Story for the film is set sometime in the future in town over run by industrialization. Teenage boys from the area form the Hikari Club to eradicate the evils of the grown up world. They then create an AI machine named “Litchi.”

“Litchi Hikari Club” will be released February 13, 2016 in Japan.
