Main trailer and poster added for Netflix drama “Gyeongseong Creature”

Main trailer and poster added for upcoming Netflix drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” starring Park Seo-Joon and Han So-Hee. The drama series is set in 1945 and set around Ongseong Hospital. Caption on the poster states “Relationship, drama of the intense fate. Ill-fated relationship, drama of the powerful karma.” The trailer shows Jang Tae-Sang (Park Seo-Joon) who is the owner of Geumokdang, the biggest pawnshop in Gyeongseong. He goes to Yoon Chae-Ok (Han So-Hee) to help him find Police Commissioner Ishikawa’s mistress. Yoon Chae-Ok decides to work with Jang Tae-Sang, who can help her find her missing mother. They hear a rumor that patients that are sent to Ongseong Hospital never come back. 

“Gyeongseong Creature” will be available to stream December 22, 2023 and “Gyeongseong Creature Part 2” will be available to stream January 5, 2024.

The period action film is set in the year 1945 and follows two people who investigate a series of missing person cases. The teaser poster states “All suspicions led to Ongseong Hospital. There were humans and creatures there.”

“Gyeongseong Creature” Part 1 will be available to stream December 22, 2023 and its sequel will be available to stream January 5, 2024.

Main trailer for movie “Concrete Utopia”

Main trailer added for movie “Concrete Utopia” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon, & Park Bo-Young. The film is set within the last standing apartment building in Seoul after a massive earthquake has devastated the region. The trailer begins with Lee Byung-Hun stating “I felt like this apartment was chosen.” Captions in the main trailer states (0:15) “Seoul, where everything has collapsed,” (0:24) “The only apartment that survived,” (1:06) “Survival rules for the survivors,” (1:30) “Follow,” (1:34) “Or Leave.”

“Concrete Utopia” will be released August 9, 2023 in South Korea.

The teaser trailer begins with Lee Byung-Hun’s stating “I felt that this apartment was chosen.” Captions on the teaser poster and in the teaser trailer states “Everything collapsed except our apartment.”

“Concrete Utopia” is now set for release August, 2023.

Main trailer for movie “Dream”

Main trailer added for movie “Dream” starring Park Seo-Joon & IU. Movie is written and directed by Lee Byeong-Hun (“Extreme Job“). The trailer shows Park Seo-Joon as hot tempered professional soccer play Yoon Hong-Dae. He gets into trouble after hitting a reporter. To repair his image, he takes part in a documentary produced by Lee So-Min (IU). Yoon Hong-Dae ends up coaching a team of homeless people for the Homeless World Cup. Below are still images from the movie.

“Dream” will be released April 26, 2023 in South Korea.

Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee cast in drama “Gyeongseong Creature”

Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee are cast in drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Kang Eun-Kyung (“Dr. Romantic“) and directed by Jung Dong-Yoon (“Hot Stove League“). The script for “Gyeongseong Creature” is set in 1945 and in the capital city of Gyeongseong, which is a an older name for Seoul. A series of missing person cases takes place in the area.

“Gyeongseong Creature” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon, & Park Bo-Young cast in movie “Concrete Utopia”

Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon, and Park Bo-Young are cast in disaster film “Concrete Utopia.” The film is based on webcomic “Yukwaehan Yiwoot” by Kim Soong-Nyoong and directed by Uhm Tae-Hwa (“Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned“). The film is set in Seoul after an earthquake annihilates the city. The only place standing is an apartment complex. Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon, and Park Bo-Young play residents there.

“Concrete Utopia” has yet to pick up a release date.

Park Bo-Gum to make cameo appearance in JTBC drama series “Itaewon Class”

Actor Park Bo-Gum is set to make a cameo appearance in ep.16 of currently airing JTBC drama series “Itaewon Class.” Further details on his cameo appearance in the final episode of “Itaewon Class” has not yet been revealed. Park Bo-Gum agreed to do the cameo appearance partially due to his good working relationship with director Kim Sung-Yoon. They previously worked together in 2016 KBS2 drama series “Love in the Moonlight.”

Ep.15 of “Itaewon Class” will air Friday, March 20, 2020 and ep.16 will air Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Kento Nakajima & Sho Hirano cast in NTV drama series “Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner.”

Kento Nakajima (‘Sexy Zone’) and Sho Hirano (‘King & Prince’) are cast for in NTV drama series “Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner.” The drama series is a remake of 2017 South Korean film “Midnight Runners” starring Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul. For the NTV drama series version, Kento Nakajima will play Kai Honma. He is the more cerebral of the two main characters, who are cadets at the police academy. Sho Hirano will play Jiro Ichinose, who is more physically fit (Park Seo-Joon’s character in the original movie).

“Miman Keisatsu: Midnight Runner” first airs April, 2020 in Japan.
