Goki Maeda & Sayu Kubota cast in NTV drama “Watashi wo Moratte: Tsuiokuhen”

Goki Maeda & Sayu Kubota are cast in NTV drama series “Watashi wo Moratte: Tsuiokuhen.” The drama series is based on South Korean webtoon “Nal Gajeoyo” by RoseBean & One Punch Rabbit. In “Watashi wo Moratte: Tsuiokuhen,” Sayu Kubota plays Natsumi Morikawa. After waking up from a coma caused by an accident, she gets home and sees the ghost Ryoei Ichijo played by Goki Maeda. Ryoei Ichijo was also involved in an accident and went into a coma.

“Watashi wo Moratte: Tsuiokuhen” will be released July 5, 2024 in Japan.

Fuka Koshiba cast in NTV drama “Go Home”

Fuka Koshiba is cast for the led role in NTV drama series “Go Home.” The drama series features an original screenplay that is scripted by Hiroyuki Yatsu (“Mr. Housekeeper, Mitazono“) & Tomoharu Sato (“Medium“). Fuka Koshiba will play warm, but eccentric Sakura Mita. She works in the unidentified bodies department at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Along with her coworker Makoto Tsukimoto, she tries to identify the deceased corpses using the clues that are left behind by them.

“Go Home” first airs July, 2024  in Japan.

Anne Nakamura & Yu Yokoyama cast in NTV-YTV drama “Yakusoku”

Anne Nakamura & Yu Yokoyama are cast in NTV-YTV drama series “Yakusoku.” The crime-mystery drama series features an original screenplay that will have the two leads play detectives. Anne Nakamura will play Aoi Kiriyuu. She is a detective and returns to her hometown after 16 years to prove her father’s innocence. Yu Yokoyama will play Kei Kosaka. He works with her on the case and also watches over her.

“Yakusoku” will first air April 11, 2024 (takes over NTV’s Thursday 23:59 time slot after “Time Traveler’s Disease“).

Mio Imada cast in NTV drama “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out”

Mio Imada is cast in NTV drama series “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out.” The drama series is a remake of popular 2014 NTV drama series “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out” starring Anne Watanabe and based off novels “Hanasaki Mai ga Damatte Inai” & “Fushoji” by Jun Ikeido. For the 2024 version of “Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out,” Mio Imada will play bank employee Mai Hanasaki. She gets transferred from a teller position to a HQ position overseeing local branch offices.

Shotaro Mamiya is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Acma: Game.” The drama series is based on manga series “Acma: Game” written by Mebu & illustrated by Koji Megumi. For “Acma: Game,” Shotaro Mamiya will play Teruasa Oda. He is the heir of a company, but he has spent most of his life researching the secret of the devil’s key. He returns to Japan and takes part in the “Acma: Game,” in pursuit of the devil’s key.

Shota Watanabe is cast for the lead role in NTV live-action drama series “Sensei Sayounara.” The drama series is based on manga series “Sensei Sayounara” by Yasuko (“Southern Beach Love Story“). Shota Watanabe, who is a member of boy band Snow Man, will play high school teacher Takuro Tamura. The screenplay will depict a love story that takes place in the present day and also when Takuro Tamura was a high school student. Meanwhile, the theme song for the drama series has been revealed as “We’ll Go Together” by Snow Man.

Fuma Kikuchi is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Zeicho.” The drama series is based on manga series “Zeicho!: Nouzeika Daisan Shuunoukakari” by Yui Shin.
