Ryosuke Yamada cast in NTV drama series “Momikeshite Fuyu”

Ryosuke Yamada (‘Hey! Say! JUMP’) is cast for the lead role in NTV drama series “Momikeshite Fuyu.” Also cast in supporting roles are Haru, Yukiyoshi Ozawa and Baijaku Nakamura. The drama series is scripted by Shigeki Kaneko and directed by Satoru Nakajima. In the drama series, Ryosuke Yamada will play Shusaku Kitazawa. He is the youngest child in a family with a middle school principal as a father and two older siblings. He works as a police officer and comes into conflict to help his family. The drama series is described as a home-comedy.

Ryusei Fujii & Takahiro Hamada cast in NTV drama series “Sotsugyo Bakamentari”

Ryusei Fujii (‘Johnny’s West’) & Takahiro Hamada (‘Johnny’s West’) cast in new NTV drama series “Sotsugyo Bakamentari.” Also cast in supporting roles are Koki Maeda, Yasunao Yoshida and Hirofumi Arai. Story for the drama series will follow four friends who will graduate from a prestigious university in 90 days. They spent most of their time studying and they try to find girls who fit their ideal types. Drama series will be scripted by Jiro and directed by Kazuaki Hashimoto.

Fuma Kikuchi cast in NTV live-action drama series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru”

Fuma Kikuchi (‘Sexy Zone’) is cast in NTV live-action drama series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru.” The drama series is based on manga series “Wagahai no Heya de Aru” by Riki Taoka. The drama series will follow graduate student Tetsuro Kagiyama (Fuma Kikuchi) and his life while living in an efficiency apartment. Some props in his apartment including a hippo doll, rice cooker, lights and bottles will be voiced by actors.

Tae Kimura cast in YTV drama series “Black Revenge”

Tae Kimura is cast in NTV-YTV drama series “Black Revenge.” Also cast in supporting roles are Jiro Sato, Hiroyuki Hirayama, Arata Horii, Maya Okano and Eriko Nakamura. The drama series is based on an original screenplay by Tomoharu Sato and directed by Taro Otani. The drama series revolves around Saori Imamiya (Tae Kimura). A fabricated scandal ruined her husband’s political career and led to him committing suicide and Saori Imamiya having a miscarriage. Five years later, she sets out a plan to get revenge on those responsible for creating the scandal.

Haruka Ayase is cast in new NTV drama series “Okusama wa, Tori Atsukai Chui.” The drama series is scripted by Kazuki Kaneshiro and directed by Ryuichi Inomata. In the upcoming drama series, Haruka Ayase plays newlywed housewife Nami Isayama. She takes cooking classes and makes friends with the other housewives, but she suspects one of the housewives is the victim of domestic violence.

Mitsuki Takahata is cast in new NTV drama series “Kahogo no Kahoko.” Also cast in supporting roles are Hitomi Kuroki and Saburo Tokito. The drama series is based on an original screenplay by Kazuhiko Yukawa. Drama series follows 21-year-old university student Kahoko Nemoto (Mitsuki Takahata). Her mother does everything for her. She then meets someone who grew up totally different from her.

Atsushi Ito & Yua Shinkawa are cast in NTV drama series “Nou ni Sumaho ga Umerareta.” The unusual premise for the drama series has Atsuhi Ito playing main character Keita Orimo. He works at a an apparel company and carries a flip phone. One day, his brain picks up smartphone like abilities and he can see things like text message balloons flying by. With his new abilities, he gets involved with problems at work. Yua Shinkawa will play Yanako Ishino. She works as a contract pattern maker at the same apparel company.

Sota Fukushi and Haruna Kawaguchi cast in NTV drama series “I Love You, But I Have a Secret”

Sota Fukushi and Haruna Kawaguchi are cast in new NTV drama series “I Love You, But I Have a Secret” (literal title of “Aishite tatte, Himitsu wa Aru”). The drama series is based on an original screenplay by Sayaka Kuwamura (“A Girl & Three Sweethearts“) and directed by Hayato Kawai. Story for the drama has Sota Fukushi playing law school student Rei Okumori. He holds a dark secret which is that he killed his father who was abusive to his mother. He meets Sawa Tachibana (Haruna Kawaguchi) at his law school and wants to marry her, but he begins to receive messages from someone that knows his secret. Honami Suzuki will play Rei’s mother Akiko Okumori and Kenichi Endo will play the father of Sawa Tachibana who is a lead public prosecutor.

Ryo Nishikido & Mayu Matsuoka are cast in new NTV drama series “My Husband Can Not Work” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Chiho Watanabe and directed by Toya Sato and Naoko Komuro. The drama series will have Ryo Nishikido playing Tsukasa Kobayashi. He seems like the perfect husband, but he holds a secret from his wife. His secret is that he is horrible at his job and he wants to quit. He then learns that his wife played Mayu Matsuoka is pregnant.
