Arata Furuta is cast for the lead role in NTV drama series “My Skirt, Where Did It Go?” (literal title of “Ore no Sukato, Doko Itta?”). The drama series features an original screenplay by Tomonari Sakurai and Takuya Kato. Shunsuke Kariyama and Itaru Mizuno will direct the drama series. For “My Skirt, Where Did It Go?,” Arata Furuta will play Nobuo Harada. He is a teacher who likes to dress like a woman.

Ayami Nakajo & Asami Mizukawa are cast in NTV drama “White Clothes‘ Warrior” (literal title of “Hakui no Senshi”). The drama series features an original screenplay by Mika Umeda (“Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out“) and directed by Shintaro Sugawara (“Kiss that Kills“). For the drama, Ayami Nakajo will play a rookie nurse & Asami Mizukawa will play veteran nurse.

Yuri Chinen (Hey! Say! JUMP) is cast in NTV drama series “Don’t Fight With Fools Even When You Get Pissed Off” (literal title). The drama series is self-help book by “Atama ni Kitemo Aho towa Tatakauna” by Kotaro Tamura. Hiroto Akashi will direct the drama series and screenplay adaptation is handled by Kota Fukuhara. In the drama esries, Yuri Chinen plays main character Kotaro Tanimura. He works at a toy company and tries not to fight with fools.

Tomoyo Harada & Kei Tanaka are cast in NTV drama series “It’s Your Turn” (literal title). The drama features an original screenplay by Mitsunori Fukuhara (“Shimokitazawa Die Hard“) and directed by Noriyoshi Sakuma (“Miss Devil“). Story for “It’s Your Turn” is setup as a murder mystery that is set an apartment complex. Tomoyo Harada & Kei Tanaka will play newlyweds who just move in to the apartment complex.

Teaser trailer added for NTV-YTV drama series “Lovely Unlovely” (working English title) starring Natsuna Watanabe, Maryjun Takahashi, Kinako Kobayashi and Kei Yamazaki from comedy duo “Aiseki Start.” Kei Yamazaki also wrote the original essay “Choudo Ii Busu no Susume” which the drama series is based on. The drama series follows three women who failures in love, but then get schooled by a Love God.

Ep.1 trailer added for NTV drama series “Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom” (English title) starring Masaki Sudaand Mei Nagano. The drama series features an original screenplay by Shogo Muto (“Train Man: Densha Otoko“/”Crows Zero“). In the drama series, homeroom teacher Ibuki Hiiragi (Masaki Suda) announces to his students a few days before their graduation that they are all hostages. A student’s suicide is revisited by the homeroom teacher.

Shota Matsuda is cast in NTV drama series “Your Home is My Business! Counterattack” (literal title) starring Keiko Kitagawa. “Your Home is My Business! Counterattack” follows 2016 NTV drama series “Your Home is My Business!” and 2017 NTV drama special “Your Home is My Business! Returns.” For the drama series, Shota Matsuda will play new character Kenji Rusudo. He works as a real estate agent and is a rival of Machi Sangenya. Screenplay for the drama series is set after last year’s drama special which ended with Machi Sangenya (Keiko Kitagawa) proposing to Dai Yashiro (Toru Nakamura).

Kentaro Sakaguchi, Haruna Kawaguchi and Naohito Fujiki are cast in NTV drama “Innocence: False Accusation Lawyer” (“Inosensu: Enzai Bengoshi”). Kentaro Sakaguch will play main character Taku Kurokawa. He is an attorney who has successfully won “not guilty” verdicts for his clients. This is pretty rare in Japan as the country has a conviction rate over 99%. Haruna Kawaguchi will play rookie attorney Kaede Wakura. She works with Taku Kurokawa on cases. Naohito Fujiki will play physics professor Kyoichiro Akiu. He helps Taku Kurokawa in crime scene demonstrations. The original screenplay is scripted by Kazunao Furuya.

Masaki Suda & Mei Nagano are cast in NTV drama series “3rd Grade A Class: From Now On, You Are Hostages” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Shogo Muto and will be directed by Naoko Komuro & Yuma Suzuki. In the drama series, Masaki Suda plays high school homeroom teacher Ibuki Hiiragi and Mei Nagano plays his student Sakura Kayano. !0 days before graduation, Ibuki Hiiragi tells his students that they are now hostages.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Prince of Legend” starring Ryota Katayose, Hiroki Iijima, Akihisa Shiono and Nobuyuki Suzuki. The film is set at a high school where 14 males students take part in a competition to become Prince of Legend at their school. The movie version will follow NTV drama series “Prince of Legend” which will first air October 3, 2018. The drama series version will give a backdrop on the 14 male students and their reasons for taking part in the competition. Still images below is from the movie version.
