Kento Yamazaki cast in live-action film “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”

Kento Yamazaki is cast in live-action film “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” to be directed by Takashi Miike. The movie is based on manga series “Jojo no Kimyona Boken Part 4 Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai“ by Hirohiko Araki. Cast in supporting roles are Ryunosuke Kamiki, Nana Komatsu, Masaki Okada, Mackenyu, Takayuki Yamada, Yusuke Iseya,Jun Kunimura & Arisa Mizuki. Kento Yamazaki will play the character of Josuke Higashikata.

Filming for “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” will take place mostly around the suburbs of Barcelona, Spain. “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” will be released sometime during summer, 2017 in Japan.

First still images of Song Ji-Hyo in JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week”

Here’s the first still images of Song Ji-Hyo in upcoming JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” also starring Lee Sun-Kyun. Drama series is a remake of 2007 Fuji TV drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week?!

In the upcoming drama series, Song Ji-Hyo plays Jung Soo-Yeon. She is a competent team leader at a graphic design firm and also takes good care of her family. She is fully trusted and loved by her husband Do Hyun-Woo (Lee Sun-Kyun).

“My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” will first air October 28, 2016 in South Korea.

First still images from tvN drama series “Entourage”

Here’s the first still images from upcoming tvN drama series “Entourage.” The larger still image features Lee Dong-Hwi, Lee Kwang-SooPark Jung-Min & Seo Kang-Joon, while Cho Jin-Woong appears in the two smaller images. Drama series “Entourage” is a remake of popular American TV series “Entourage” which aired on HBO from 2004-2011.

Filming for the drama series just completed in South Korea and took 4 months to finish. “Entourage” is scheduled to first air November 4, 2016 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for live-action film “Haruta & Chika”

Teaser trailer for live-action film “Haruta & Chika” starring Shori Sato (‘Sexy Zone’) and Kanna Hashimoto. Movie is based on manga series “Haruchika” by Sei Hatsuno and directed by Masahide Ichii.

In addition, actor Keisuke Koide is now cast for the upcoming live-action film. Keisuke Koide will play Kusakabe. He used to be a promising conductor. He now instructs a music club which takes part in a contest.

Release date for “Haruta & Chika” is now set for March 4, 2017.

Gou Ayano & Nijiro Murakami cast in movie “Mukoku”

Gou Ayano & Nijiro Murakami are cast in new movie “Mukoku.” Movie is based on 2012 novel “Mukoku” by Shu Fujisawa and will be directed by Kazuyoshi Kumakiri. Story for the film follows Kengo Yatabe played by Gou Ayano. Kengo Yatabe is talented in kendo as was his now comatosed father. He gives up kendo and spends his time drinking and working as a security guard. He then meets a high school student played by Nijiro Murakami. The teenager rekindles his interest in kendo.

“Mukoku” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Kim Min-Jung offered female lead role in JTBC drama series “Man to Man”

Kim Min-Jung offered lead female role in upcoming JTBC drama series “Man to Man” starring Park Hae-Jin. Currently, Kim Min-Jung is “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts, she will play lead female character Cha Do-Ha. Already cast in supporting roles for the drama series are Park Sung-Woong, Yeon Jeong-Hun, Chae Jung-An, Cheon Ho-Jin, Jang Hyun-Sung & Tae In-Ho.

“Man to Man” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

SBS drama series “Saimdang, Light’s Diary” revised air date

SS has to decided to move “Saimdang, Light’s Diary,” starring Lee Young-Ae & Song Seung-Heon, from premiering October, 2016 to January, 2017. The drama series is now scheduled to air Wednesday and Thursday at 10 PM after the conclusion of “The Legend of the Blue Sea.” The drama series is attempting to air simultaneously in South Korea and China and the series is still going through Chinese censorship review.

First script reading for MBC drama series “Golden Pouch”

First script reading for upcoming MBC weekday evening drama series “Golden Pouch,” starring Kim Ji-Han & Ryu Hyo-Young, took place at the end of last month in South Korea.The drama series will follow main character Han Suk-Hoon (Kim Ji-Han) as he returns to South Korea, after living in the United States as an adoptee, and works as a doctor. His life spirals down, but he turns his life around by becoming a dumpling master.

Drama series “Golden Pouch” will air Monday through Friday at 9PM beginning this November in South Korea (takes over the time slot currently held by “Working Mom Parenting Daddy“).
