Kang Byul & Kwon Hyun-Sang cast in MBC drama series “Always Spring”

Kang Byul & Kwon Hyun-Sang are cast in MBC weekday morning drama series “Always Spring” (literal title). The drama series had its first script reading on September 28, 2016. In the drama series, Kang Byul will play Joo In-Jung. She served in the military for 8 years and now she lives life as a regular civilian. Kwon Hyun-Sang will play Kang Yoon-Ho. He is the son of family who runs a large company. He pretends to be interested in playing around only, but he builds up his capabilities secretly.

“Always Spring” first airs October 31, 2016 in South Korea.

Filming for movie “Nidome no Natsu, Nidoto Aenai Kimi” begins …

Filming for upcoming movie “Nidome no Natsu, Nidoto Aenai Kimi” began October 2, 2016. The photo above features Nijiro Murakami, Madoka Yoshida (‘Tancobuchin’), Rena Kato (‘AKB48’), Mana Kinjo and Yuki Yamada in character for the movie. “Nidome no Natsu, Nidoto Aenai Kimi” is based on light novel of same name by Hirotaka Akagi.

“Nidome no Natsu, Nidoto Aenai Kimi” will be released sometime during autumn, 2017 in Japan.

For Kento Yamazaki and Takumi Saito, they will appear in live-action scenes as King Enma and Nurarihyon respectively.

Filming for movie “Retrial” finishes

Filming for movie “Retrial” (literal title) finished October 3, 2016. Filming took about 10 weeks to finish. The last scene filmed was a court scene. Still images above are also the first from the film. Movie stars Jung Woo as an attorney and Kang Ha-Neul as a prisoner. The attorney works to free the prisoner on a murder conviction.

“Retrial” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

First still images of BoA in JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week”

Here’s the first still images of BoA in upcoming JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” starring Lee Sun-Kyun & Song Ji-Hyo. The drama series is a remake of 2007 Fuji TV drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week?!” In the drama series, BoA plays Kwon Bo-Young. She works with PD Do Hyun-Woo (Lee Sun-Kyun) as a screenwriter at a broadcasting station. She also becomes romantically involved with PD Ahn Joon-Young (Lee Sang-Yeob).

Taishi Nakagawa and Yuna Taira cast in live-action film “ReLIFE”

Taishi Nakagawa and Yuna Taira are cast in upcoming live-action film “ReLIFE.” The movie is based on manga series “ReLIFE” by So Yayoi and will be directed by Takeshi Furusawa (“Love for Beginners“).

For movie “ReLIFE,” Taishi Nakagawa will play 27-year-old Arata Kaizaki. His character is unemployed and he decides to take part in a medical research program. He is then given medication that will make him look significantly younger and he is to attend high school for a year. There, he meets high school student Chizuru Hishiro played by Yuna Taira.

“ReLIFE” will be released April 15, 2017 in Japan.
