Baek Jin-Hee offered lead female role in MBC drama series “Missing 9”

Baek Jin-Hee has been offered the lead female role in upcoming MBC drama series “Missing 9.” She is currently “positively considering” the offer. If Baek Jin-Hee accepts the offer, she will play Ra Bong-Hee. Her mother worked as a diver. She learned how to swim from her mother. She now works as a stylist for Seo Joon-O. Actor Jung Kyoung-Ho is currently considering an offer to play the lead male role. The drama series went under the early working title of “Gaia” before picking up the title of “Picnic” and then finally picking up “Missing 9.”

“Missing 9” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Main trailer for movie “Survival Family”

Main trailer added for movie “Survival Family” starring Fumiyo Kohinata, Eri Fukatsu, Yuki Izumisawa & Wakana Aoi. Movie is written and directed by Shinobu Yaguchi (“Waterboys“/”Swing Girls“/”Wood Job!“). The unusual premise for the film is set during a world wide electrical outage. The city of Tokyo has gone into ruins because of the outage and a man (Fumiyo Kohinata) decides to get his family out of the city.

“Survival Family” will be released February 11, 2017.

First still image of Gong Yoo in tvN drama series “Goblin”

Here’s the first still images of Gong Yoo in upcoming tvN drama series “Goblin” co-starring Kim Go-Eun. The still images are from Gong Yoo’s first day of filming, which took place September 22, 2016 at Gochang, North Jeolla Province, South Korea. The scene has Gong Yoo as Kim Shin walking through a field. Filming for the drama series began shooting on location in Canada on October 5, 2016.

“Goblin” is now set to first air December 2, 2016 in South Korea.

2nd set of character posters for SBS drama series “Saimdang, Light’s Diary”

Here’s the second set of character posters for upcoming SBS drama series “Saimdang, Light’s Diary” starring Lee Young-Ae & Song Seung-Heon. As we mentioned earlier, ep.1 air date has been pushed back from October, 2016 to January, 2017 to allow the drama series to receive approval from China’s censorship board. The drama series hopes to simultaneously air in South Korea and China. Filming for the drama series completed June 4, 2016.

SBS to air “Gogh, The Starry Night” from October 22, 2016

SBS will air drama series “Gogh, The Starry Night,” starring Kwon Yuri, Kim Young-Kwang & Lee Ji-Hoon, from October 22, 2016 in South Korea. The drama series is co-production between Chinese online streaming service Sohu TV and South Korean production company Kim Jong Hyuk Studio. “Gogh, The Starry Night” consists of 4 episodes and it has already aired on Sohu TV earlier this year. Story for the drama series revolves around Go Ho (Kwon Yuri). She is a hard working woman at an advertisement company. Five men become interested in her.

“Gogh, The Starry Night” will air on Saturday & Sunday at 10PM after the conclusion of “Second To Last Love.”
