Lily Franky cast in movie “Issa”

Lily Franky is cast in upcoming movie “Issa.” The movie is based on 1978 novel “Issa” by Shuhei Fujisawa and the novel depicts the life of poet and Buddhist priest Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828). Lily Franky will play the title character. Also cast in the film are Tamao Nakamura, Atsushi Ito, Renji Ishibashi & Nozomi Sasaki. Filming for the movie began September 15, 2016 and is expected to finish sometime in November, 2016.
