Teaser trailer added for movie “Hirugao” starring Aya Ueto & Takumi Saito. Movie is a sequel to 2014 Fuji TV drama series “Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon” and set 3 years after the end of that drama series.
“Hirugao” is now set for release June 10, 2017 in Japan.
Main trailer added for upcoming live-action film “ReLIFE” starring Taishi Nakagawa & Yuna Taira. Movie is based on manga series “ReLIFE” by So Yayoi which was first published via free comic app “comico.” Story for the film follows a 27-year-old man (Taishi Nakagawa) who takes part in a research program “ReLIFE.” He is given medication that makes him look 10 years younger and he attends high school for a year.
“ReLIFE” will be released April 15, 2017 in Japan.

Mirei Kiritani is cast in Fuji TV live-action drama series “Hito wa Mitame ga 100 Percent.” The drama series is based on the manga of same name by Hiromi Okubo. In the drama series, Mirei Kiritani will play main character Jun Jonochi. She works at a paper manufacturing company. Her character doesn’t hold any interest in making herself attractive, until she notices that others don’t view her as a woman. Hiroaki Matsuyama will direct the drama series and Tomoko Aizawa will write the screenplay adaptation. The duo previously worked together in 2012 Fuji TV drama series “The Locked Room Murders.”
“Hito wa Mitame ga 100 Percent” will first air April, 2017 in Japan.
Trailer and poster added for Hong Sang-Soo directed film “On the Beach at Night Alone” starring Kim Min-Hee. Movie will have its world premiere at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival in the competition section. Kim Min-Hee previously starred in 2015 Hong Sang-Soo film “Right Now, Wrong Then” and the duo made headlines in South Korea last year when the press revealed they were in a romantic relationship, even though Hong Sang-Soo was married at the time.

Filming of upcoming movie “V.I.P.,” starring Jang Dong-Gun, Kim Myung-Min, Park Hee-Soon & Lee Jong-Suk, finished January 20, 2017. Filming for the movie took 3 months to complete and shooting locations included Thailand, Hong Kong as well as South Korea.
Meanwhile, photos above are the first for the movie released publicly. In the upcoming film, Jang Dong-Gun plays Park Jae-Hyuk. His character is connected with the C.I.A. in the U.S. and the N.I.S. in South Korea. Kim Myung-Min plays South Korean detective Chae Yi-Do. Park Hee-Soon plays Lee Dae-Bum. He is a coldblooded agent for The Ministry of People’s Security in North Korea and he travels to South Korea. Lastly, Lee Jong-Suk plays serial murder suspect Gwang-Il. He defected from North Korea to South Korea and is an important figure. He is referred to as “V.I.P.” Movie is directed by Park Hoon-Jung (“New World“).
