Rain and Kim Tae-Hee announce their marriage

Singer/actor Rain and actress Kim Tae-Hee have announced that they will marry on January 19, 2017 at a Catholic Church in Seoul, South Korea. The couple first met while shooting a commercial in autumn, 2012 and began to date. They announced to the press they were officially a couple in January, 2013.

Ryoko Hirosue, Mirai Moriyama & Yuri Kanari cast in WOWO drama special “Inagakike no Moshu”

Ryoko Hirosue, Mirai Moriyama & Yuri Kanari are cast in new WOWOW drama special “Inagakike no Moshu.” The drama special is based on an original screenplay by Goro Koyama. His screenplay won the 9th WOWOW Scenario Award in 2015. Story for the drama series follows a child (Yuri Kanari) who gets nervous in front of people and becomes terrified by the thought of making a speech at a funeral like his father just did. He then worries about his uncle (Mirai Moriyama) and aunt (Ryoko Hirosue)  who are single. He tries to get them married to avoid making a speech at their funerals.

In addition, a teaser trailer for “Inagakike no Moshu” can be viewed at AsianWiki. “Inagakike no Moshu” will air March 18, 2017 in Japan.

Teaser poster and release date for movie “Bluebeard”

Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “Bluebeard” starring Cho Jin-Woong. Movie “Bluebeard” is set in the thriller genre and involves around a doctor (Cho Jin-Woong) and a series of murder cases connected by a severed body found in the Han River. “Bluebeard” is now set for release sometime this March in South Korea.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Father is Strange,” starring Lee Joon & Jung So-Min, took place recently at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. First script reading featured main cast members Lee Joon, Jung So-Min, Kim Young-Chul, Kim Hae-Sook, Lee Yu-Ri, Ryu Soo-Young, Ryu Hwa-Young (’T-ara’) & Min Jin-Woong.

“Father is Strange” first airs February, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 7:55 PM time slot after “The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop“).

Seo Kang-Joon offered lead role in drama series “Seen from a Distance, Green Spring”

Seo Kang-Joon has been offered the lead role in new drama series “Seen from a Distance, Green Spring” (literal title). Currently, Seo Kang-Joon is “positively considering” the offer. The drama series is based on webtoon “Meolriseo Bomyun Pooreun Bom” by Ji Nyoong.

If Seo Kang-Joon accepts the offer, he will play Yeo Joon. He is a third year university student. Even though he is attractive and comes from a wealthy background, he carries emotional pain with him. The drama series is in discussion to air on one of the three Korean major broadcasting stations, but has not been finalized.
