Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “A Virtuous Business” starring Kim So-Yeon, Yeon Woo-Jin, Kim Sung-Ryoung, and Lee Se-Hee. Drama series is set in the year 1992, when four women go into business in a rural area and begin selling adult products door-to-door. Ep.1 trailer begins with Kim So-Yeon stating “I’m thinking about getting a job. There’s not much I can do while raising a child. Did you touch the money jar? That’s the money we are gong to use to pay the rent. I can’t believe I bought adult products to sell.”

“A Virtuous Business” first airs October 12, 2024 in South Korea.

Trailer and poster added for movie “366 Days” starring Eiji Akaso and Eiji Akaso. Movie is inspired by 2008 pop song “366 Days” by HY, which was also adapted into 2024 Fuji TV drama series “366 Days.” The trailer begins with Minato Makiya (Eiji Akaso) listening to a cassette player and hearing the voice of Miu Tamashiro (Moka Kamishiraishi) asking “Minato, are you doing fine?” Captions in the trailer then states “It was the voice of my ex-lover that I had heard for the first time in 15 years.”

“366 Days” will be released January 10, 2025 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for movie “Amazon Bullseye” starring Ryu Seung-Ryong & Jin Sun-Kyu. The film, directed by Kim Chang-Ju (“Hard Hit“), follows a former national archer (Ryu Seung-Ryong) as he becomes the coach for three talented archers from the Amazon. The trailer begins with an anonymous voice that states “There is a small country called Boledor in South America connected to the Amazon. International sports competition medal project.”

First teaser trailer and teaser posters added for ENA drama series “Brewing Love” (literal title) starring Kim Se-Jeong & Lee Jong-Won. Caption on the teaser poster states “Raise heart throb level.” For “Brewing Love,” Kim Se-Jeong as Chae Yong-Joo is tasked with selling a new beer for her company. Lee Jong-Won is plays the CEO of the beer company that Chae Young-Joo must promote.

“Brewing Love” will first air  November 4, 2024 in South Korea (takes over ENA’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Dear Hyeri“).

Main trailer for Netflix drama “Beyond Goodbye”

Main trailer added for Netflix drama series “Beyond Goodbye” starring Kasumi Arimura & Kentaro Sakaguchi. The romance drama series, scripted by Yoshikazu Okada (“The 8-Year Engagement“), has a woman named Saeko Sugawara (Kasumi Arimura) meeting Kazumasa Naruse (Kentaro Sakaguchi). They are unaware at first that Kazumasa Naruse received a heart transplant from Saeko Sugawara’s boyfriend who died in a car accident. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Azalea” by Kenshi Yonezu. The theme song is featured in the main trailer.

“Beyond Goodbye” consists of 8 episodes and will be available to stream from November 14, 2024.

Main trailer added for Netflix distributed movie “Uprising” starring Gang Dong-Won, Park Jeong-Min, and Cha Seung-Won. Prior to its release on Netflix, “Uprising” will have its world premiere as the opening film for the 2024 Busan International Film Festival (October 2-11, 2024). Story for “Uprising” is set during the Imjin War, when Japan invaded Korea (1592-1598).

Koki, Keisuke Watanabe, & Keito Tsuna cast in movie “Megami Korin”

Koki, Keisuke Watanabe, & Keito Tsuna are cast in two-part movie “Megami Korin.” Movie is based on webcomic “Yeoshingangrim” by Yaongyi, which was previously adapted into 2020 tvN drama series “True Beauty” starring Mun Ka-Young, Cha Eun-Woo, & Hwang In-Yeop. For the movie version, Koki will play Reina Tanigawa. She is a teenager who gets bullied for her looks, but she turns to makeup to transform herself.

“Megami Korin” will release its “Before” version on March 20, 2025 and its “After” version on May 1, 2025. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer for the movie can be viewed on AsianWiki.

Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-Bin cast in SBS drama “Our Movie”

Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-Bin are cast in SBS drama series “Our Movie” (literal title). The drama series will be directed by Lee Jung-Heum, who worked with Namkoong Min in 2017 SBS drama series “Falsify.” Story for “Our Movie” will be a romance/melodrama, revolving around a movie director played by Namkoong Min making his second film. Story for his second film involves a person with a terminal illness. He meets an aspiring actress played by Jeon Yeo-Bin, who is terminally ill, and they work together on the movie.

“Our Movie” will air sometime next year in SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10 PM time slot.

Sul Kyung-Gu, Hong Kyung, & Ryoo Seung-Bum are cast in Netflix distributed movie “Good News.” The film will be directed by Byun Sung-Hyun, who previously directed Sul Kyung-Gu in the Netflix distributed film “Kill Bok-Soon.” “Good News,” will mark the fourth time for Sul Kyung-Gu to appear in a film directed by Byun Sung-Hyun. Premise for “Good News” revolves around a secret operation that takes place to land a hijacked airplane.

“Good News” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Nobuyuki Suzuki cast in movie “Salaryman Kintaro”

Nobuyuki Suzuki is cast in movie “Salaryman Kintaro.” The film is based on manga series “Salaryman Kintaro” by Hiroshi Motomiya and will be released in two parts. The manga series was previously adapted into TBS drama series “Salaryman Kintaro,” TV Asahi drama series “Salaryman Kintaro,” and a 1999 movie version “Salaryman Kintaro.” Nobuyuki Suzuki will play main character Kintaro Yajima. He is a former motorcycle gang leader and now a salaryman.

“Salaryman Kintaro” will be released  January 10, 2025 with the Akatsuki version and the second part named Kai version will be released February 7, 2025.
