Here’s the first still images of Ko Gyung-Pyo in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Strongest Deliveryman” (literal title). Filming for the drama series began June 17, 2017. In the upcoming drama series, Ko Gyung-Pyo plays Choi Gang-Soo. He has worked as a deliveryman for the past 5 years and works hard, but he has never worked at the same place for more than 2 months.
“Strongest Deliveryman” first airs July 28, 2017 (takes over KBS2’s Friday and Saturday time slot after “The Best Hit“).
Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Dorobou Yakusha” starring Ryuhei Maruyama (‘Kanjani Eight’). Movie is written and directed by Masafumi Nishida. Story for “Dorobou Yakusha” follows a reformed thief played by Ryuhei Maruyama. An old colleague blackmails him to break into a mansion. While committing the crime, he is caught, but mistaken for someone else.

Park Shin-Yang offered lead role in new drama series “Trapeze” (literal title of “Gongjoonggeune”). The drama series is based on Japanese novel “Kuchu Buranko” by Hideo Okuda, which is the winner of the 131st Naoki Prize. 2005 Fuji TV drama special “Flying Trapeze” starring Hiroshi Abe is also based on the same novel. Currently, Park Shin-Yang is “positively considering” his offer. If he accepts, he will play the main character who is a highly eccentric psychiatrist. He uses very unusual techniques to help his patients.
The drama series is targeted to air sometime during the second half of this year, but the exact date or network has yet to be announced.
Trailer for live-action film “Tokyo Ghoul” starring Masataka Kubota. Movie is based on popular manga “Tokyo Ghoul” by Sui Ishida and directed by Kentaro Hagiwara. For those that haven’t read the manga yet, “Ghouls” are man-eating monsters that hide within ordinary humans. Ken Kaneki (Masataka Kubota) through an organ transplant becomes a half ghoul.

Trailer added for upcoming movie “Tori Girl!” starring Tao Tsuchiya. Movie is based on 2012 novel “Tori Garu!” by Kou Nakamura and directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. Story for “Tori Girl!” takes place at a science university. There, first year student Yukina Toriyama (Tao Tsuchiya) decides to join the human powered flight club because of a boy (Shotaro Mamiya) she likes.

Story for “Koinowa: Konkatsu Cruising” follows a former executive (Morio Kazama) seeking a wife to start a new second life with. He meets a 35-year-old editor (Nana Katase). They argue, but meet again on a cruise ship for those in search of a marriage partner.

Mahiro Takasugi is cast in new movie “The Longest Picture In The World” (literal title). The movie is based on novel “Sekai de Ichiban Nagi Shashin” by Tetsuya Honda and directed by Shogo Kusano. In addition, Rina Takeda is cast in a supporting role for the film. Story for “The Longest Picture In The World” follows a young man Hironobu (Mahiro Takasugi) who lives a boring and aimless life. He then comes across a camera that is able to take the longest panoramic shots. His life changes afterwards. Rina Takeda will the cousin of Hironobu.
Filming for “The Longest Picture In The World” will take place this summer and the movie will be released next summer in Japan.
