Teaser trailer added for period film “Namhansanseong” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Kim Yun-Seok & Park Hae-Il. Movie is set in the year 1636 and in the mountain fortress city of Namhansanseong. The Qing Dynasty attacks Joseon, while King Injo and his retainers use Namhansanseong as an emergency capital. Movie is directed by Hwang Dong-Hyuk (“Silenced“/”Miss Granny“).

Kyoko Koizumi, Hikari Mitsushima, Kaho, Maki Sakai, Aiko Morishita and Miho Kanno are all cast in new TBS drama series “Prison’s Princess” (literal title). The drama series follows five female prisoners and a prison officer (played by Hikari Mitsushima). When Kayo Baba (Kyoko Kizumi) is released from prison after 6 years, she meets with three of her former inmates. They concoct a plan to take revenge for their former cellmate Shinobu Edogawa (Kaho). She is unjustly imprisoned on murder charges. The prison officer also helps the woman in their revenge plan. Drama series is directed by Fuminori Kaneko and screenplay written by Kankuro Kudo.

Seo Hyun-Jin & Yang Se-Jong are cast for lead roles in new SBS drama series “Temperature of Love” (literal title). For the drama series, Seo Hyun-Jin will play Lee Hyun-Soo. Her character has worked as an assistant writer for the past 10 years, but she has just written her first drama series screenplay. Yang Se-Jong will play On Jung-Sun. He works as the chef at a restaurant. After high school, he traveled to France and studied cooking there. He likes Lee Hyun-Soo when they first meet, but he doesn’t get close to her, believing love should be a product of mutual interest. Seo Hyun-Jin & Yang Se-Jong previously worked together in SBS drama series “Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim.”
“Temperature of Love” will first air September 18, 2017 in South Korea.

Here’s the first still images of Kim Jae-Joong and Uee in a scene together from upcoming KBS2 drama series “Man-Hole: Feel So Good.” In the drama series, Kim Jae-Joong plays Bong-Pil and Uee plays Soo-Jin. The two have been friends since they were children and Bong-Pil has love Soo-Jin all that time in vain. Bong-Pil falls through a manhole and travels through time. He tries to stop Soo-Jin’s wedding.

Rika Adachi and Yukihisa Tamura (‘Boys and Men’) are cast in movie “Kiss Dekiru Gyoza.” The film is written and directed by Takehiko Hata. Besides writing screenplays for numerous drama series, Takehiko Hata also wrote the original novel that the “Unfair” series is based off.
Story for “Kiss Dekiru Gyoza” will have Rika Adachi playing divorcee and single mother Yoko Fujita. While raising her daughter, Yoko Fujita tries to revive her parents’ gyoza restaurant and she falls in love with professional golfer Ryo Iwahara (Yukihisa Tamura).
“Kiss Dekiru Gyoza” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Second teaser poster and first still images added for movie “V.I.P.” starring Jang Dong-Gun, Kim Myung-Min, Park Hee-Soon and Lee Jong-Suk. For the teaser poster, the caption states “man, that nobody can touch, comes to South Korea from North Korea.”
“V.I.P.” will be released sometime this August in South Korea.
Poster and trailer for upcoming movie “Forkcrane” starring Uhm Tae-Woong. Movie is directed by Lee Ju-Hyoung. Like Lee Ju-Hyoung’s prior film “Red Family,” movie “Forkcrane” is written and produced by Kim Ki-Duk. Story for “Forkcrane” revolves around a forklift driver played by Uhm Tae-Woong. In his youth, he was a paratrooper and deployed to Gwangju to suppress the Gwangju Uprising. An incident causes the forklift driver to uncover a secret. For those curious, Korean title “Forkcrane” is a Korean term to refer to hydraulic excavators that come from French company “Poclain.”
“Forkcrane” opens July 27, 2017.
