Teaser poster for movie “The Unrighteous”

Teaser poster added for upcoming horror film “The Unrighteous” starring Lee Hyun-Woo, Moon Jeong-Hee, and Bang Min-Ah. The film revolves around residents of an old, decrepit apartment complex. Lee Hyun-Woo plays Joo-Hyeon. A small act of revenge he takes upon his upstairs neighbor, played by Moon Jeong-Hee, soon puts the entire apartment residents in danger.

“The Unrighteous” will be released December, 2024 in South Korea.

Shingo Katori cast in Fuji TV drama “Japan’s Saitei Man”

Shingo Katori is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Japan’s Saitei Man.” The drama series features an original screenplay and will be directed by Takuro Oikawa (“Attorney Sodom“). Takuro Oikawa and Shingo Katori previously worked together for 2021 TV Tokyo drama series “Anonymous.” For “Japan’s Saitei Man,” Shingo Katori will play opportunistic Ippei Omori. He brings his ex-brother-in-law and his two children into his home for his own reasons.

“Japan’s Saitei Man” will first air January, 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s 10 PM time slot after “My Precious“).

Kim Hae-Sook & Chae Won-Bin cast in KBS2 drama “Miss Granny”

Kim Hae-Sook  & Chae Won-Bin cast in KBS2 remake drama series “Miss Granny” co-starring Jung Ji-So and Jin Young. The drama series is a remake of popular 2014 movie “Miss Granny” starring Shim Eun-Kyung, Na Moon-Hee, and Jin Young. Kim Hae-Sook will play co-lead character Oh Mal-Soon, who suddenly reverts physically to when she was in her 20’s. She begins using the name Oh Doo-Ri, which her younger self will be played by Jung Ji-So, and attempts to become an idol singer. Chae Won-Bin, currently starring in MBC mystery drama series “Doubt,” will play Oh Mal-Soon’s granddaughter Choi Ha-Na. She also tries to become an idol singer.

Air date for “Miss Granny” has also been set for December, 2024 and will take over KBS2’s Wednesday & Thursday 9:50 PM time slot after “Face Me“).

Teaser poster and release date for movie “The Priests 2: Dark Nuns”

Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “The Priests 2: Dark Nuns” starring Song Hye-Kyo, Jeon Yeo-Bin, and Lee Jin-Uk. The film is not in the traditional sense a sequel or spin-off of 2015 movie “The Priests,” starring Kim Yun-Seok and Gang Dong-Won, but both come from the same production company ZIP CINEMA and have a story of a child possessed by an evil spirit. The teaser poster, which is for international markets, shows the back of Nun Yunia (Song Hye-Kyo) and Nun Mikaela (Jeon Yeo-Bin) heading somewhere with a boy named Hee-Joon (Moon Woo-Jin), who is possessed by an evil spirit.

“The Priests 2: Dark Nuns” will be released January 24, 2025 in South Korea.

Suzu Hirose and Kenichi Matsuyama cast in TBS drama “Who Saw the Peacock Dance in the Jungle?”

Suzu Hirose and Kenichi Matsuyama are cast in TBS drama series “Who Saw the Peacock Dance in the Jungle?” The drama series is based on webcomic “Kujaku no Dance, Dare ga Mita?” by Rito Asami (“Ichikei’s Crow: The Criminal Court Judges“). In the suspense-crime drama series, Suzu Hirose plays Komugi Yamashita. Her father is a former police officer, but is a murdered and leaves behind a letter to her. Kenichi Matsuyama will play Yoshiteru Matsukaze. He is a lawyer and works with Komugi Yamashita to uncover the truth behind his death.

“Who Saw the Peacock Dance in the Jungle?” will first air January, 2025 in Japan.

Park Eun-Bin & Cha Eun-Woo cast in Netflix drama series “The WONDERfools”

Park Eun-Bin, Cha Eun-Woo, Kim Hae-Sook, Choi Dae-Hoon, Im Sung-Jae, and Son Hyun-Joo are cast in Netflix drama series “The WONDERfools.” The superhero-comedy drama series will be directed by Yu In-Sik (“Dr. Romantic“) and scripted by Heo Da-Joong (“Extreme Job“). Story for “The WONDERfools” is set in the year 1999 and follows three people in Haeseong City who suddenly gain supernatural powers and a socially awkward civil servant. Cha Eun-Woo will play the civil servant there named Lee Woon-Jeong. He looks into a serial disappearance case with Eun Chae-Ni (Park Eun-Bin), who gained a supernatural power with her neighbors played by Choi Dae-Hoon and Im Sung-Jae.

“The WONDERfools” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.

Han Groo and Choi Sang are cast in KBS2 drama “Cinderella Game”

Han Groo and Choi Sang are cast for lead roles in KBS2 weekday evening drama series “Cinderella Game.” Also cast for major supporting character roles are Park Ri-Won and Kwon Do-Hyung. The revenge themed drama series follows a woman played by Han Groo who learns that her family is not her real family and they are actually the enemies of her birth parents.

“Cinderella Game” will first air this December in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday – Friday 7:50 PM time slot after “Snow White’s Revenge“).
