Nana Seino cast in Fuji TV drama “119: Emergency Call”

Nana Seino  is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV drama series “119: Emergency Call.” Drama series features an original screenplay by Natsu Hashimoto (“Mr. Bride“) and Keigo Koyanagi. Nana Seino will play a 119 emergency center operator. She decided to work in that field, after experiencing a fire at her home.

“119: Emergency Call” will first air January, 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 9PM time slot after “Usotoki Rhetoric“).

Mone Kamishiraishi & Mahiro Takasugi cast in TV Tokyo drama “Hotei no Dragon”

Mone Kamishiraishi and Mahiro Takasugi are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Hotei no Dragon.” The drama series features an original screenplay, that is law based, by Masashi Todayama (“The Woman of S.R.I. Season 3“/”Aibou: Season 5“). Mone Kamishiraishi will play the lead character Tatsumi Tendo. Although she pursued her dream of becoming a professional shogi player, an incident turned her attention to the field of law. She begins working for law firm that is on the verge of insolvency.

Mun Ka-Young cast in tvN drama “Seocho District”

Mun Ka-Young is cast for the lead female role in tvN drama series “Seocho District” (literal title) co-starring Lee Jong-Suk. For the upcoming drama series, which is law based, Mun Ka-Young will play Kang Hee-Ji. Her character is a first year lawyer, who just finished her probationary period at a law firm. She is confident and honest about herself with a bright personality. She gave up her dream of becoming an artist and took the path of becoming a lawyer to protect her loved ones. She is an enthusiastic lawyer, who not only provides legal service to her clients, but also cares about their personal well being.

“Seocho District” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Release date & still images for movie “Harbin”

Release date and first still images added for movie “Harbin” starring Hyun-Bin. The still images includes characters played by Park Jeong-Min, Jo Woo-Jin, Jeon Yeo-Bin, Yoo Jae-Myung, Park Hoon, and Lee Dong-Wook. “Harbin” is spy-thriller set in the year 1909 and revolves around the Righteous Army militia. The militia army move to Russia to implement an assassination attempt.

“Harbin” is now set for release December 25, 2024 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer 4 added for JTBC drama series “The Tale of Lady Ok” starring Lim Ji-Yeon & Choo Yeong-Woo. “The Tale of Lady Ok” is set in the Joseon period with Lim Ji-Yeon playing Attorney Ok Tae-Young … but her identity is completely fake. Narration in the teaser trailer has Choo Yeong-Woo stating “She is graceful as a butterfly, her face is full of life, her eyes are very smart. Butterfly. Face. Eyes. Late spring. Romance. I love a slave, not a noblewoman.” Around the 27 second mark Lim Ji-Yeon asks “Can I be greedy just once?”
