Teaser trailer for movie “Kataomoi Sekai”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Kataomoi Sekai” starring Suzu Hirose, Hana Sugisaki, and Kaya Kiyohara. Movie features an original screenplay by Yuji Sakamoto and directed by Nobuhiro Doi. Yuji Sakamoto and Nobuhiro Doi previously worked together on 2021 movie “We Made a Beautiful Bouquet.” The film follows three young woman who live together and have been close for the past 12 years.

“Kataomoi Sekai” will be released April 4, 2025.

Nam Joo-Hyuk, Roh Yoon-Seo, and Cho Seung-Woo cast in Netflix drama “East Palace”

Nam Joo-Hyuk, Roh Yoon-Seo, and Cho Seung-Woo are cast in Netflix drama series “East Palace” (working title). The drama series is set in historical times and involves ghosts and spirits that exist within the palace. Nam Joo-Hyuk will play Ku-Cheon. He is able to enter the world ghosts and kill them with his sword. Roh Yoon-Seo will play Saeng-Gang. She is a court lady and has a special ability to hear ghosts. Cho Seung-Woo will play the King. He is a complicated man who enlists the help of Ku-Cheon and Saeng-Gang to take care of the curse in the palace. For actor Nam Joo-Hyuk, his role in “East Palace” marks his return to acting since he finished his military enlistment on September 19, 2024.

“East Palace” will be available to stream sometime next year on Netflix.

Lead cast announced for KBS2 drama “Kick Kick Kick Kick.”

Ji Jin-Hee, Lee Kyoo-Hyung, Baek Ji-Won, and Lee Min-Jae are cast in KBS2 drama series “Kick Kick Kick Kick.” The comedy-office drama series will revolve around production company Kick Kick Kick Kick Company. The founders of the company will be play by Ji Jin-Hee and Lee Kyoo-Hyung. Employees at the production company will be play Baek Ji-Won and Lee Min-Jae.

“Kick Kick Kick Kick” will first air February 5, 2025 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:50 PM time slot after “Who Is She“).

First teaser poster for JTBC drama “The Art of Negotiation”

First teaser poster added for JTBC drama series “The Art of Negotiation” (literal title) starring Lee Je-Hoon. The drama series will have Lee Je-Hoon play a legendary M&A expert, specializing in large corporate deals. His team includes Oh Soon-Young (Kim Dae-Myung) and Choi Jin-Soo (Cha Kang-Yoon). The teaser poster shows the backside of Lee Je-Hoon as the M&A expert, sporting his trademark silver hair and on the phone.

“The Art of Negotiation” will first air sometime in the first half of this year in JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 10:30 PM time slot following “The Tale of Lady Ok.”

Toshiaki Karasawa cast in TV Asahi drama “Private Banker”

Toshiaki Karasawa is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Private Banker.” The suspense-financial drama series is directed by Masaki Nishiura (“Code Blue“) and scripted by Hiroyuki Komine (“The Expert of Changing Jobs“). For “Private Banker,” Toshiaki Karasawa will play main character Koichi Anno. He is a private banker for high net worth clients. He goes to great lengths to protect his clients’ assets, including solving their personal problems.
