Yuji Sakamoto and Nobuhiro Doi previously worked together on 2021 movie “We Made a Beautiful Bouquet.” The film follows three young woman who live together and have been close for the past 12 years.

Nam Joo-Hyuk, Roh Yoon-Seo, and Cho Seung-Woo are cast in Netflix drama series “East Palace” (working title). The drama series is set in historical times and involves ghosts and spirits that exist within the palace. Nam Joo-Hyuk will play Ku-Cheon. He is able to enter the world ghosts and kill them with his sword. Roh Yoon-Seo will play Saeng-Gang. She is a court lady and has a special ability to hear ghosts. Cho Seung-Woo will play the King. He is a complicated man who enlists the help of Ku-Cheon and Saeng-Gang to take care of the curse in the palace. For actor Nam Joo-Hyuk, his role in “East Palace” marks his return to acting since he finished his military enlistment on September 19, 2024.
“East Palace” will be available to stream sometime next year on Netflix.
