Teaser trailer for upcoming live-action film “The Scythian Lamb” starring Ryo Nishikido, Fumino Kimura and Ryuhei Matsuda. Movie is based on manga “Hitsuji no Ki” by Tatsuhiko Yamagami and directed by Daihachi Yoshida (“The Kirishima Thing“).
“The Scythian Lamb” is scheduled for release February, 2018 in Japan, but the movie will make its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival (October 12-21, 2017).
Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming movie “The Swindlers” (English title) starring Hyun-Bin and Yoo Ji-Tae. Appearing on the teaser poser are Hwang Ji-Sung (Hyun-Bin), Prosecutor Park (Yoo Ji-Tae), Ko Suk-Dong (Bae Sung-Woo), Kwak Seung-Gun (Park Sung-Woong), Section Chief Kim (An Se-Ha) and Choon-Ja (Nana). They don’t necessarily trust each other, but they work together to catch a notorious swindler.
“The Swindlers” is now set for release sometime this November in South Korea.
First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Witch’s Court” took place September 5, 2017 at KBS Building in Yeuido, Seoul. Main cast members including Jung Ryeo-Won, Yoon Hyun-Min, Jeon Kwang-Leol, Kim Min-Seo, Kim Yeo-Jin and Kim Jae-Hwa all attended. Director Kim Young-Kyoon spoke prior to the beginning of the script reading and said “The drama ‘Witch’s Court’ deals with sexual crimes against women and children, so it is a sensitive subject. We will try to make the drama delicately and we will also try infuse some lighter moments.”

Shunsuke Daito and Takara Sakumoto are cast in movie “You tachi Happy Eigaban Himawari.” Movie is based on an original screenplay by Tatsuya Kanazawa and directed by Toru Sugimoto. Also cast in supporting roles are Tokuma Nishioka and Narumi Kuranoo (‘AKB48‘). Roles for the two female leads will be determined through auditions that will be held in Nasukarasuyama, Japan where the movie is set in. Story for the film follows two female high school students who volunteer at a local FM radio station. They set out to help out the local festival “Yamaage Matsuri” as its experiencing difficulties. Shunsuke Daito and Takara Sakumoto will play two men who arrive in Nasukarasuyama to work at the radio station.
“You tachi Happy Eigaban Himawari” will be released sometime during summer, 2018 in Japan.
First script reading for upcoming tvN drama special “Picnic Day” took place recently in South Korea. At the first script reading, main cast members including Kim Dong-Wan (‘Shinhwa’) ,Kim Hye-In, Nam Moon-Chul, Jeon Bae-Su, and Ko Kyu-Pil. Story for the drama special is set at company “Picnic Day” which goes to the homes of recently deceased people to clean and pack. The drama special is also part of tvN’s OPEN series which will feature 10 specials showcasing talented new story tellers.
“Picnic Day” will air sometime this December in South Korea.

Hyeri (‘Girl’s Day’) is now cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Two Cops” co-starring Cho Jung-Seok. In the drama series, Hyeri will play Song Ji-An. She is an enthusiastic rookie reporter assigned to the city desk department. Song Ji-An goes after a scoop and gets involved with Detective Cha Dong-Tak (Cho Jung-Seok). His spirit is possessed by a swindler.

The character teaser trailers are of Lee Yo-Won as Kim Jung-Hye, Ra Mi-Ran as Hong Do-Hee and Myung Se-Bin as Lee Mi-Sook. The three women are part of a group that takes out revenge on others. “Avengers Social Club” is based on webcomic “Buam-dong Boksooja Soshyeolkeurub” by Sajatokki.
