Jang Dong-Gun and Park Hyung-Sik cast in KBS2 drama series “Suits.” The drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Suits” which aired on cable network USA from 2011. In the drama series, Jang Dong-Gun will play top attorney Choi Kyung-Seo. He hires rookie Go Yeon-Woo (Park Hyung-Sik) for his law firm.
“Suits” first airs sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.
Jung Jae-Young, Kim Nam-Gil, Uhm Ji-Won are cast in movie “Strange Family.” Also cast in the film are Lee Soo-Kyung, Jung Ga-Ram and Park In-Hwan. The movie will be the first film directed by Lee Min-Jae. In the film Jung Jae-Young, Kim Nam-Gil and Lee Soo-Kyung will play three siblings. Their father played by Park In-Hwan runs a gas station in a country village. Uhm Ji-Won is married to the oldest sibling played by Jung Jae-Young. A strange man played by Jung Ga-Ram comes to the village disturbing the peace there.
“Strange Family” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
Trailer added for upcoming movie “Demekin” starring Kentaro and Yuki Yamada. Movie is based on an autobiographical novel “Demekin” by Masaki Sata. Story follows two young men who fight their way through high school and eventually starts a motorcycle gang.
“Demekin” opens December 2, 2017 in Japan.
Filming for movie “Your Wedding” (literal title), starring Park Bo-Young and Kim Young-Kwang, began September 18, 2017. Movie is directed by first time feature film director Lee Seok-Geun. Story for the film follows two people who knew each other in high school and now start careers as young adults.
“Your Wedding” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
Rie Kitahara (‘NGT48’), Pierre Taki, Mugi Kadowaki and Lily Franky are cast in movie “Sani / 32.” The movie reunites director Kazuya Shiraishi, screenwriter Izumi Takahashi and actor Pierre Taki who all worked together in 2013 film “The Devil’s Path.” Also cast in the film are Taro Suruga, Takuma Otoo, Ginnojo Yamazaki, Shinsuke Kato, Kae Okumura, Amon Kabe, Honami Kurashita and Jun Aonami. Story for the film revolves around 24-year-old middle school teacher Akari Fujii (Rie Kitahara). She is kidnapped by two men (played by Pierre Taki and Lily Franky) who admire an internet girl and call themselves “The Most Lovely Murderers in Criminal History.”
Filming for the movie took place February, 2017 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan and the movie will be released February, 2018 in Japan.
Trailer added for KBS2 drama special “Waltzing Alone” starring Mun Ka-Young and Yeo Hoi-Hyeon. The drama special tells the story of a boyfriend and girlfriend who first met in a waltz class. They now find themselves competing for the same job.

Yoo Seung-Ho is now cast in upcoming MBC drama series “I’m Not a Robot” (literal title). He will play lead male character Kim Min-Kyu. He is a major shareholder of a finance company and possesses an attractive appearance, but he has never had a girlfriend due to being allergic to other people. He falls in love with a woman who is compelled to pretend to be a robot.
Meanwhile, actress Chae Soo-Bin is still considering an offer to pay the lead female role. “I’m Not a Robot” first airs November, 2017 in South Korea.
Here’s a main poster for upcoming melodrama film “Autumn Sonata” starring BoA and Lee Hak-Joo. Story for the film has BoA playing Soo-Ryun. She hopes to marry her boyfriend Joon (Lee Hak-Joo), but she learns she doesn’t have much time to live.
Release date for “Autumn Sonata” is now set for October 19, 2017 in South Korea.

Movie “Silence” (literal title), starring Choi Min-Sik, Park Shin-Hye and Ryoo Joon-Yeol, is now set for release sometime this November in South Korea.
