First script reading for tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey” took place November 4, 2017. At the first script reading, main cast members including Lee Seung-Gi, Cha Seung-Won, Oh Yeon-Seo, Lee Hong-Ki (‘F.T. Island’), Yoon Bo-Ra (ex-‘Sistar’ member), Lee El, Kim Sung-Oh, Sung Hyuk, Sung Ji-Ru and Jang Gwang all attended.

In addition, Netflix just signed a contract with the production company to stream “A Korean Odyssey” worldwide. “A Korean Odyssey” first airs December 23, 2017 in South Korea.

Yoo Ah-In cast in movie “Sovereign Default’s Day”

Yoo Ah-In is cast in movie “Sovereign Default’s Day” (literal title) co-starring Kim Hye-Soo. In addition, French actor Vincent Cassel is cast in a supporting role for the film. Story for “Sovereign Default’s Day” takes place during the 1997 IMF crisis in South Korea. Yoo Ah-In will play Yoon Jung-Hak. He works in the financial field and bets big during the financial crisis. Kim Hye-Soo plays Han Shi-Hyun. She works for a bank and she was the first person to predict the possible sovereign default. She is assigned to a crisis team. Vincent Cassel will play the Managing Director of the IMF (International Monetary Fund). Movie will be directed by Choi Kook-Hee (“Split“).

Filming for “Sovereign Default’s Day” begins December, 2017 in South Korea.

Kasumi Arimura & Jun Kunimura cast in movie “Kazoku Iro”

Kasumi Arimura & Jun Kunimura are cast in sequel film “Kazoku Iro.” Movie is the third installment of the “Railways” franchise which includes 2010 film “Railways” and 2011 film “Crossroads.” Movie will be directed by Yasuhiro Yoshida (“Enoshima Prism“). For “Kazoku Iro,” Kasumi Arimura will play widow Akira Okuzono. She moves with her stepson to her late husband’s hometown of Kagoshima and begins to live with her father-in-law Setsuo (Jun Kunimura). There, Akira Okuzono looks for a job and decides to become a train driver like her father-in-law and what her late husband dreamed of becoming.

Filming for “Kazoku Iro” will take place from January to February, 2018 in Kagoshima, Japan.

First script reading for tvN drama series “Live”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Live,” starring Jung Yu-Mi and Lee Kwang-Soo, took place November 16, 2017 at Studio Dragon in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Jung Yu-Mi, Lee Kwang-Soo, Bae Sung-Woo, Bae Jong-Ok and Lee Soon-Jae all attended. Story for “Live” follows the daily lives of police officers at a local precinct. The drama series is directed by Kim Kyu-Tae and scripted by No Hee-Kyung. They previously worked together on drama series”Worlds Within……,” “Padam Padam… The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “It’s Ok, This is Love.”

“Live” will first air sometime in March, 2018 (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “A Korean Odyssey.”

Here’s character posters for JTBC drama series “Just Between Lovers” starring Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’), Won Jin-A, Lee Ki-Woo and Kang Han-Na. The character posters are of the four main leads. In the drama series, Lee Joon-Ho plays Lee Gang-Doo. Due to an accident, he lost his father and his dream of becoming a soccer player. Won Jin-A plays Ha Moon-Soo. Jeon So-Min cast in tvN drama series “Cross”

Jeon So-Min is now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Cross” co-starring Ko Gyung-Pyo & Cho Jae-Hyun. In the drama series, Jeon So-Min will play lead female character Go Ji-In. She works as an intern at Sunrim Hospital. She is highly principled like her father Go Jung-Hoon (Cho Jae-Hyun) who works as the director in the organ transplant center of Sunrim Hospital. Go Ji-In and Kang In-Kyu (Ko Gyung-Pyo) bicker over pretty much everything, but she gets attracted to him.
