Teaser trailer for movie “Yuuzai”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Yuuzai” starring Toma Ikuta and Eita. Movie is directed by Takahisa Zeze and based on 2013 novel “Yuuzai” by Gaku Yakumaru. Supporting actors in the film include Kaho, Mizuki Yamamoto, Yasuko Tomita and Koichi Sato. Story follows former journalist now factory worker Masuda (Toma Ikuda). His coworker (Eita) killed several children when he was younger and now doesn’t talk to anyone. Masuda, hoping to revive his journalist career, decides to secretly write a piece on him while befriending him.

“Yuuzai” will be released May, 2018 in Japan.

Lee Ji-Ah cast in tvN drama series “My Ajusshi”

Lee Ji-Ah is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “My Ajusshi” starring Lee Sun-Kyun and IU. In the drama series, Lee Ji-Ah will play major supporting character Kang Yoon-Hee. She is married to Park Dong-Hoon (Lee Sun-Kyun). Meanwhile, Park Dong-Hoon is going through difficult times and a younger woman played by IU goes through similar difficulties. They help each other.

Filming for “My Ajusshi” begins this month and the drama series will first air sometime during the first half of 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser poster for OCN drama series “Longing Heart”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming OCN drama series “Longing Heart” starring Lee Jung-Shin (CNBLUE), Lee Yeol-Eum and Seo Ji-Hoon. Drama series is based on webcomic “Aeganjang” by Kim Hee-Ran & Kim Byung-Gwan. Story for the drama series follows a 28-year-old teacher (Lee Jung-Shin) as he travels back in time to when he was a high school student. He meets his younger self (Seo Ji-Hoon) and struggles to bring together his younger self and his first love (Lee Yeol-Eum).

 

The poster also reveals “Longing Heart” will first air January 8, 2018 in South Korea.

Elaiza Ikeda and Joe Odagiri cast movie “Room Laundering”

Elaiza Ikeda and Joe Odagiri are cast in movie “Room Laundering.” Also cast in supporting roles are Kiyohiko Shibukawa, Kentaro and Kaoru Mitsumune. The film is written and directed by Kenji Katagiri. In movie “Room Laundering” Eliza Ikeda plays Miko Yakuma. After her grandmother died, she shut herself away from the world until her uncle appears. Joe Odagiri plays the uncle. He sets up a place for her to live and a part-time job. The part-time job is “room laundering” which is to appease ghosts who are holed up in rooms by solving their worries.

“Room Laundering” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Koji Seto cast in Fuji TV live-action drama series “Princess Jellyfish”

Koji Seto cast in Fuji TV live-action drama series “Princess Jellyfish” co-starring Kyoko Yoshine. For “Princess Jellyfish,” Koji Seto will play Kuranosuke Koibuchi. He is the son of a mogul politician. His father wants him to follow in his footsteps and become a politician, but Kuranosuke Koibuchi is more interested in fashion. His love for fashion also leads him to dress up as a woman. Kuranosuke Koibuchi then meets Tsukimi Kurashita (Kyoko Yoshine ). He becomes interested in her and tries to charm her through fashion and make-up. Drama series is based on manga series “Kuragehime” by Akiko Higashimura.

“Princess Jellyfish” first airs January, 2018 in Japan.

Ha Yeon-Soo cast in drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman”

Ha Yeon-Soo is cast for the lead female role in upcoming remake drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman” co-starring  Suho (‘“EXO’). Also cast in a supporting role is Kim Ye-Won. Oh Chang-Suk was previously announced as a supporting cast member. The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Rich Man, Poor Woman” starring Shun Oguri and Satomi Ishihara in the lead roles.

For “Rich Man, Poor Woman.” Ha Yeon-Soo will play Kim Bo-Ra. She was born in the countryside on Jeju Island. Kim Bo-Ra was also famous for being a smart kid in her hometown. She goes to Seoul to attend college and carries her family’s high expectations. Her dream is to work at Next One which is led by Lee Yoo-Chan (Suho) as its CEO. Meanwhile, for supporting characters Kim Ye-Won will play Min Tae-Ra. She owns an art gallery and her older brother is Min Tae-Joo (Oh Chang-Suk). Min Tae-Joo is the co-founder of Next One.
