Lee Da-Hae and Ryu Soo-Young cast in SBS drama series “Good Witch”

Lee Da-Hae and Ryu Soo-Young are cast for the lead role in SBS drama series “Good Witch” (literal title). They join already cast supporting members An Woo-Yeon, Bae Soo-Bin, Yoon Se-Ah and Lee Deok-Hwa. In the drama series, Lee Da-Hae will play twin sisters Cha Sun-Hee and Cha Do-Hee. When her flight attendant twin sister Cha Do-Hee becomes involved in a situation, Cha Sun-Hee pretends to be her sister and she eventually meets co-pilot Song Woo-Jin played by Ryu Soo-Young.

“Good Witch” first airs March, 2018 (takes over SBS’ Saturday 8:45 PM time slot after “Bravo My Life“).

JTBC to air drama special “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory” on December 31st

JTBC is set to air drama special “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory, ” starring Choi Gang-Hee and Lee Joon-Hyuk, on December 31, 2017. The drama special consists of 2 episodes and it will air sequentially on JTBC. In addition, here are the first two still images from the drama special. In the drama special, Choi Gang-Hee plays a radio program writer Han Yeo-Reum. She casts her ex-boyfriend Park Hae-Joon (Lee Joon-Hyuk) for a program.

Kim Jung-Hyun, Lee Yi-Kyung and Son Seung-Won cast in JTBC drama series “Eulachacha Waikiki”

Kim Jung-Hyun, Lee Yi-Kyung and Son Seung-Won are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Eulachacha Waikiki.” Former T-ara member Ryu Hwa-Young is currently considering an offer to play a lead female character role in the drama series. For the drama series, Kim Jung-Hyun will play the lead male character with Lee Yi-Kyung and Son Seung-Won playing secondary lead characters. Story for “Eulachacha Waikiki” follows three men who run a guest house in Itaewon, South Korea. A mysterious baby and a single mother appear.

“Eulachacha Waikiki” first airs February, 2018 in South korea.

Ryoko Shinohara & Hidetoshi Nishijima cast in movie “The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps”

Ryoko Shinohara & Hidetoshi Nishijima are cast in movie “The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps” (literal title). The film is based on the 2015 novel “Ningyo no Nemuru Ie” by Keigo Higashino and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi. Story for “The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps” differs from Keigo Higashino’s well known mystery-suspense type of novels and revolves around a difficult moral dilemma. Ryoko Shinohara & Hidetoshi Nishijima play parents whose daughter drowned in a pool and is informed by a doctor that their daughter is brain dead. The parents can either donate her organs to others in critical need or wait until their daughter’s heart stops beating which could be years.

Filming for “The House Where The Mermaid Sleeps” takes place from January to Febraury, 2018 and the movie will be released November, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for OCN drama series “My First Love”

First teaser trailer added for OCN live-action drama series “My First Love” (literal title “Longing Heart”) starring Lee Jung-Shin (CNBLUE),  Seo Ji-Hoon  and Lee Yeol-Eum. The drama series is based on webcomic “Aeganjang” by Kim Hee-Ran & Kim Byung-Gwan. Story for the drama series follows a math teacher (Lee Jung-Shin) who travels back in time to 10 years ago and helps his 18-year-old self (Seo Ji-Hoon) romance his first love Han Ji-Soo (Lee Yeol-Eun).

“My First Love” first airs January 8, 2018 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Monday and Tuesday 9PM time slot after “Meloholic“).

Han Ji-Hye and Lee Sang-Woo cast in KBS2 weekend drama series “Shall We Live Together”

Han Ji-Hye and Lee Sang-Woo are cast in upcoming KBS2 weekend drama series “Shall We Live Together” (literal and working title). The drama series will air on Saturdays and Sundays at 8PM beginning February, 2018 (taking over the time slot currently held by “My Golden Life“). In the drama series, Han Ji-Hye and Lee Sang-Woo will play doctors who fall in love. They come from very different backgrounds.
