Special teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Punk Samurai Slash Down” starring Gou Ayano and Keiko Kitagawa. The teaser trailer features the theme song for the movie which is none other than “Anarchy in the U.K.” by British punk band the Sex Pistols. Sadly, the teaser trailer is only 44 seconds long. Meanwhile, Masatoshi Nagase is cast as General Monkey in the upcoming film.

Teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming MBC drama series “Come and Hug Me” starring Chang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo.

Teaser trailer #3 and two posters added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Are You Human?” starring Seo Kang-Joon and Kong Seung-Yeon. The group poster features main cast members Seo Kang-Joon, Kong Seung-Yeon, Lee Joon-Hyuk, Park Hwan-Hee, Kim Sung-Ryoung, Park Young-Gyu and Yu Oh-Seong. Caption in the teaser #3 also states “Nam Shin? Nam Shin III? He who seems to be a human, but is not a human is coming.

Ai Hashimoto is cast for a major supporting character role in movie “Oz Land” starring Haru and Hidetoshi Nishijima.
Ai Hashimoto will play Yayoi Tamachi in movie “Oz Land.” She works with Kurumi Namihiro (Haru) and Yoshiko Ozuka (Hidetoshi Nishijima) at an amusement park. She has a bright personality, which is different from her character in the original novel. “Oz Land” is based on 2015 novel “Ozu no Sekai” by Yoichi Komori and directed by Takafumi Hatano.
“Oz Land” will be released sometime this fall in Japan.
Moon Chae-Won is cast for the lead female role in upcoming drama series “Tale of Gyeryong Fairy” co-starring Yoon Hyun-Min. Actress Kang So-Ra was first cast for the lead female role, but she had to drop out due to scheduling issues. Actor Seo Ji-Hoon is also cast in a supporting role.
For “Tale of Gyeryong Fairy,” Moon Chae-Won will play Sun Ok-Nam. Her character is a fairy and she has waited 699 years for her deceased husband to be reincarnated. Her husband hid her fairy clothes and this has prevented her from going back to heaven. In the meantime, she runs a coffee shop and meets two men who might be her husband.
“Tale of Gyeryong Fairy” will air as a completed pre-production, but exact airing network has yet to be decided.
Bae Suzy has been offered the lead female role in SBS drama series “Vagabond” (literal title). Lee Seung-Gi has already received an offer to play the lead male role and he is still considering the offer. Currently, Bae Suzy is considering her offer. Lee Seung-Gi and Bae Suzy previously starred together in 2013 MBC drama series “Gu Family Book.” Drama series “Vagabond” will air as a completed pre-production. Character descriptions of the lead characters in the drama series have not yet been revealed.
Teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming SBS drama series “Secret Mother” starring Song Yoon-A and Kim So-Yeon. Actor Kim Tae-Woo appears for the first time in teaser #3. In the dram series, Kim Tae-Woo plays Han Jae-Yeol. He is the husband of Kim Yoon-Jin (Song Yoon-A) and works as a police superintendent.
“Secret Mother” first airs May 12, 2018 in South Korea.
Shigeaki Kato from boy band ‘NEWS’ is cast for the lead role in NTV drama series “Zero: Ikkaku Senkin Game.” In addition, fellow ‘NEWS’ members Keiichiro Koyama, Takahisa Masuda and Yuya Tegoshi will make cameo appearances in the drama series. Story for the drama series will revolve around a death game where contestants risk their lives for a chance to win 100 billion yen.
“Zero: Ikkaku Senkin Game” first airs July, 2018 in Japan.
Yoon Si-Yoon has been offered for a lead role in new SBS drama series “Dear Judge” (literal title). Currently, Yoon Si-Yoon is “positively considering” the offer. If he accepts, he will play two characters who are identical twins. One of whom has an extensive criminal record and the other is respected judge. The judge though disappears and his brother takes takes his place.
“Dear Judge” first airs July, 2018 in South Korea (will take over SBS’ Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “The Undateables“).
Choi Jin-Hyuk & Song Ha-Yoon are cast for lead roles in Dramax drama series “Devilish Joy” (literal title). Hoya from idol group ‘INFINITE’ is also cast for a supporting role. In the drama series Choi Jin-Hyuk will play Gong Ma-Sung. A car accident causes him to lose his short term memory and he must memorize his handwritten notes to remember what happened the day before. He then meets Joo Gi-Bbeum played by Song Ha-Yoon and they fall in love.
Filming for “Devilish Joy” begins in the middle of this month and the drama series will air sometime in the second half of this year.
