Teaser poster added for upcoming movie “Makuko” starring child actors Hikaru Yamazaki and Ninon. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Risa Sudo appear in the movie as parents. Movie is based on 2016 novel “Makuko” by Kanako Nishi (“Yellow Elephant“) and directed by Keiko Tsuruoka.
In addition, the teaser poster reveals that movie “Makuko” will be released March 15, 2019 in Japan.
Nam Gyu-Ri is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Different Dreams” co-starring Lee Yo-Won, Yoo Ji-Tae and Lim Ju-Hwan. For the drama series, Nam Gyu-Ri will play 2nd lead female character Miki. Her character is scripted as a popular and attractive singer. She is in love with Fukuda (Lim Ju-Hwan).

First teaser poster added for upcoming movie “Witness” (literal title) starring Jung Woo-Sung and Kim Hyang-Gi. Caption on the teaser poster states in Korean “I met a girl with autism who is the only witness of the case.” Movie is directed by Lee Han (“Punch“).
In addition, the teaser poster reveals that the movie’s release date is set for February, 2019 in South Korea.
SBS drama series “Vagabond,” starring Lee Seung-Gi and Bae Suzy, is now slated to first air May, 2019 in their Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot. Filming for the drama series is currently ongoing and was originally scheduled to finish by the end of this year, but completion is now pushed back to sometime in late January or February, 2019.
Meanwhile, here’s the first still images of Lee Seung-Gi in the drama series. In the drama series, Lee Seung-Gi plays stunt man Cha Dal-Gun. He becomes involved in a conspiracy case which draws in NIS agent Go Hae-Ri (Bae Suzy).

The 2 episode drama special is based on novel “Futatsu no Sokoku” by Toyoko Yamasaki (“The Unbroken“). Story for the drama series is set during the onset of the Pacific War. Shun Oguri & Tsuyoshi Muro play Japanese-Americans who studied at UCLA.

Ep.1 trailer added for NTV drama series “Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom” (English title) starring Masaki Sudaand Mei Nagano. The drama series features an original screenplay by Shogo Muto (“Train Man: Densha Otoko“/”Crows Zero“). In the drama series, homeroom teacher Ibuki Hiiragi (Masaki Suda) announces to his students a few days before their graduation that they are all hostages. A student’s suicide is revisited by the homeroom teacher.

Kanna Hashimoto is cast in upcoming movie “12 Suicidal Teens” starring Hana Sugisaki and Mackenyu Arata. Up until today’s accouncement, the identity of one of the 12 children in the movie was a mystery. For the film, Kanna Hashimoto will play Ryoko. She is one of the 12 boys and girls who meet up to die. Movie is based on 2016 novel “Jyuni Nin no Shinitai Kodomotachi” by Tow Ubukata and directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi. Meanwhile a new teaser/TV commercial spot featuring Kanna Hashimoto in the upcoming film has been added on AsianWiki.
