Main trailer & character posters for OCN drama series “Save Me 2”

Main trailer for upcoming OCN drama series “Save Me 2” starring Um Tae-Goo, Cheon Ho-Jin, Esom and Kim Young-Min. The drama series is a remake of 2013 animation film “The Fake.” The main trailer starts with captions at the 6 second mark that states “Country village Wolchoori that is bewitched by the fake.” Around the 18 second mark, caption states “In this crazy fake world, more crazy men appeared.”

Teaser trailer for SBS drama series “My Absolute Boyfriend”

First teaser trailer added for SBS drama series “My Absolute Boyfriend” starring Yeo Jin-Goo and Bang Min-Ah (‘Girl’s Day’). The drama series is based on manga series “Zettai Kareshi” by Yuu Watase. Teaser 1 starts with captions that states in Korean “One day, suddenly it came.” At 21 seconds, Yeo Jin-Goo states “you girlfriend just accept love that I give to you.” At 23 seconds, Bang Min-Ah states “There is no such love in this world. So don’t be nice to me.”

“My Absolute Boyfriend” is now scheduled to first air May 15, 2019 in South Korea.

Ryota Katayose & Kanna Hashimoto cast in live-action film “Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight”

Ryota Katayose (‘GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’) and Kanna Hashimoto are cast for lead roles in live-action film “Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight.” Gordon Maeda is also cast in a major supporting character role. The film is based on manga series “Gozen 0 ji, Kiss Shi ni Kite yo ” by Rin Mikimoto (“Close Range Love“) and directed by Takehiko Shinjo (“Heavenly Forest“).

“Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight” will be released December, 2019 in Japan.

Yoon Gyun-Sang & Keum Sae-Rok cast in OCN drama series “Mr. Temporary”

Yoon Gyun-Sang and Keum Sae-Rok are cast for lead roles in OCN drama series “Mr. Temporary.” Also cast in supporting roles for the drama series are Jun (U-KISS) and Choi Yu-Hwa. Story for “Mr. Temporary” will follow an attorney played by Yoon Gyun-Sang who goes undercover at a high school and begins to work there as a temporary teacher. Keum Sae-Rok will P.E. Teacher Ha So-Hyun at the same high school.

“Mr. Temporary” first airs July, 2019 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Wednesday & Thursday 11PM time slot after “Save Me 2“).

Shun Oguri and Gen Hoshino cast in movie “The Voice in the Crime”

Shun Oguri and Gen Hoshino are cast for lead roles in movie “The Voice in the Crime” (literal title). The movie is based on 2016 novel “Tsumi no Koe” by Takeshi Shiota. The novel itself gives a fictionalized account of a real life extortion crime case that took place in the 1980’s known as the “The Glico Morinaga case.” For the movie, Shun Oguri will play newspaper reporter Eiji Akutsu. He works on a story about an unsolved case from 30 years earlier. The case involved an extortion attempt by a group of people targeting several companies. Meanwhile, Gen Hoshino will play Toshiya Sone. He learns by accident that as a child he may have had a direct connection to the crime. Movie is directed by Nobuhiro Doi.

Filming for “The Voice in the Crime” is already underway and will finish June, 2019. “The Voice in the Crime” will be released sometime in 2020.

Teaser trailer #5 and #6 added for upcoming SBS drama series “The Secret Life of My Secretary” starring Kim Young-Kwang and Jin Ki-Joo. Teaser trailer #5 features Kim Young-Kwang as executive Do Min-Ik and the teaser starts with his voice stating in Korean “Do you think I am crazy? I am in love with that woman.” Teaser trailer #6 features Jin Ki-Joo as secretary Jung Gal-Hee and her voice states at the start of the teaser “Do you think I am bad? Teaser posters for comedy film “Hit Me Anyone One More Time”

Here’s two teaser posters for upcoming “Hit Me Anyone One More Time” starring Kiichi Nakai. Announced today to play supporting characters are Eiko Koike, Yuki Saito, Yoshino Kimura and Yo Yoshida. The film is written and directed by Koki Mitani so you know the film will be a well done screwball comedy. This time around, Kiichi Nakai plays a man who wakes up with amnesia and then slowly realizes he is a the prime minister of Japan.

“Hit Me Anyone One More Time” is now scheduled for release September 13, 2019 in Japan.

Main trailer added for movie “Jurors” (literal title) starring Moon So-Ri and Park Hyung-Sik. The film covers the first civil jury trial in South Korea as the country first began testing jury trials in 2008. The trailer begins with captions that states “Any Korean citizens over the age of 20 except workers in the legal profession or ex-convicts are chosen for the jury.” At the 15 second mark, caption states “Year 2008, the first South Korean civil participation of a criminal trial” Later, “That day was the first for all of them,” “Ordinary people who wanted do well, because it was the first time” and then “Their most special trial begins.
