Teaser trailer and teaser poster for movie “Paradise” (literal title) starring Gou Ayano, Hana Sugisaki and Koichi Sato. Movie is based on short stories “Aota Y Jiro” and “Yorozuya Zenjiro” by Shuichi Yoshida (“Villain“) and directed by Takahisa Zeze (“64: Part 1“).
“Paradise” is set for release October 18, 2019 in Japan.
Jang Dong-Yoon is cast in KBS2 drama series “The Joseon Romantic-Comedy Tale of Nok-Du” (literal title) co-starring Kim So-Hyun. The drama series previously went under the Korean working title of Nokdujeon (literally “Tale of Nok-Du”), before picking up the Korean title of Joseonroko Nokdujeon (literally “The Joseon Romantic-Comedy Tale of Nok-Du”). In the drama series Jang Dong-Yoon will play lead male character Jeon Nok-Du. His character is scripted as being smart, handsome and ambitious. He becomes involved in an unexpected case and goes to a widow village where he meets Dong Dong-Ju (Kim So-Hyun).
“The Joseon Romantic-Comedy Tale of Nok-Du” first airs September, 2019 in South Korea.
Teaser trailer #1 added for MBC drama series “One Spring Night” (English title) starring Han Ji-Min and Jung Hae-In. Teaser trailer #1 doesn’t show any of the performers, but rather a cherry blossom tree swaying in the night and captions in Korean that states “Spring night knows. You will fall in love.” With the laid-back folksy soundtrack you could even think you are watching a trailer for Jung Hae-In’s prior drama series “Something in the Rain.”
“One Spring Night” first airs May 22, 2019 in South KOrea.
Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “Abyss” starring Park Bo-Young and Ahn Hyo-Seop. Meanwhile, Seo In-Guk and Jung So-Min who starred together in tvN drama series “Hundred Million Stars From the Sky” will make cameo appearances in ep.1 of “Abyss.” Their cameo appearance came about due to their relationship with director Yoo Je-Won, whom they worked with in “Hundred Million Stars From the Sky.” Seo In-Guk and Jung So-Min briefly appear in the ep.1 trailer as well. Ep.1 trailer begins with Seo In-Guk’s voice as he states “If being dead is an accident, then you just need to save.”

The teaser has Lim Soo-Jung as Bae Ta-Mi talking to the media/court and stating “Our Unicorn manipulates trending topics.” Unicorn is the web portal company that she works for.
“Search: WWW” is now scheduled to first air June 5, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 PM time slot after “Her Private Life“).
Teaser poster and teaser trailer for upcoming movie “My Father, the Bride” starring Honoka Matsumoto & Itsuji Itao. Movie is written and directed by Momoko Fukuda. As the English title hints, the film depicts a young woman who learns her widower father wants to get remarried to a man.
“My Father, the Bride” will be released September 20, 2019 in Japan.
Lim Soo-Hyang, Lee Jang-Woo and Bae Jong-Ok are cast in MBN drama series “Graceful Family” (literal title). The drama series will be directed by Han Chul-Soo (“The Noblesse“) and scripted by Kwon Min-Soo (“The Blade and Petal“). The drama series will Lim Soo-Hyang playing heiress Mo Seok-Hee and Lee Jang-Woo playing small-time attorney Heo Yoon-Do. They work together to reveal the truth behind the death of Mo Seok-Hee’s mother. Bae Jong-Ok will play Han Je-Kook. She works for the company which Mo Seok-Hee’s family controls.

Teaser poster and teaser trailer added for live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” starring Sho Hirano and Kanna Hashimoto. Movie is based on manga series “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensaitachi no Renai Zunosen” by Aka Akasaka and directed Hayato Kawai (“Let’s Go, Jets!“).
“Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” will be released September 6, 2019 in Japan.
Park Hae-Soo, Lee Hee-Joon and Soo-Hyun are cast in drama series “Chimera.” The drama series had the early working title of “Chemistry.” For the drama series, Park Hae-Soo will play Detective Cha Jae-Hwan, Lee Hee-Joon will play Dr. Lee Joong-Yeob and Soo-Hyun will play criminal profiler Yoo Jin. All three work together to solve a criminal case. Kim Do-Hoon (“Medical Top Team“) will direct the drama series and the screenplay is written by Lee Jin-Mae (“Ex-Girlfriends’ Club“).
“Chimera” is tentatively scheduled to air in the second half of this year in South Korea, but exact channel has yet to be determined.
Main trailer added for movie “Newspaper Reporter” (literal title) starring Shim Eun-Kyung and Tori Matsuzaka. The film is based on non-fiction novel “Shinbun Kisha” by Isoko Mochizuki and directed by Michihito Fujii (“Day and Night“). The trailer has captions at the 12 second mark that states “By government power, the newspaper participated in a coverup.”
