Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Way To Find The Best Life”

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for upcoming movie “Way To Find The Best Life” (literal title) starring Sayuri Yoshinaga and Yuki Amami. Movie is a remake of 2017 U.S. film “The Bucket List” starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Caption on the teaser poster states “Thanks to you, the rest of my life is filled with happiness.” Movie is directed by Isshin Inudo (“Josee, the Tiger and the Fish“).

“Way To Find The Best Life” will be released October 11, 2019 in Japan.

First script reading for tvN drama series “When the Devil Calls Your Name”

First script reading for tvN drama series “When the Devil Calls Your Name,” starring Jung Kyoung-Ho, Park Sung-Woong, Lee Seol and Lee El, took place March, 2019 in Sangnam Neighborhood, Seoul, South Korea. Attendees at the first script reading included main cast members Jung Kyoung-Ho, Park Sung-Woong, Lee Seol, Lee El, Kim Hyung-Mook, Kim Won-Hae, Yoon Kyung-Ho, Son Ji-Hyun, Song Kang and Yoo Young.

“When the Devil Calls Your Name” will air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea. The drama series will air in tvN’s Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 PM time slot.

Won Jin-A offered lead female role in tvN drama series “Let Me Melt”

Won Jin-A has been offered the lead female role in tvN drama series “Let Me Melt” co-starring Ji Chang-Wook. Currenlty, Won Jin-A is considering the offer. If she accepts, Won Jin-A will play a young woman who participates on a variety show with Ma Dong-Chan (Ji Chang-Wook). She was offered 5 million won ($5,000 USD) to take part in a 24 hour freezing project on the variety show, but she soon realizes 20 years have passed instead of 24 hours.

“Let Me Melt” first airs sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Main trailer & character posters for movie “Parasite”

Main trailer added for movie “Parasite” starring Song Kang-Ho and Lee Sun-Kyun. Movie is the latest film written and directed by Bong Joon-Ho (“The Host“). If you watch carefully, you can Park Seo-Joon’s cameo appearance in the movie as a friend of Ki-Woo (Choi Woo-Sik). Meanwhile, above and below are 8 character posters for the movie. The character posters are of Song Kang-Ho, Lee Sun-Kyun, Cho Yeo-Jeong, Choi Woo-Sik, Park So-Dam, Jang Hye-Jin, Jung Ji-So and Jeong Hyun-Jun.

Ep.1 air date for SBS drama series “Vagabond”

Ep.1 air date for SBS drama series “Vagabond” is now set for sometime this September in South Korea. The drama series will air on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 PM, following the conclusion of “Doctor Room.” “Vagabond” will also be available through Netflix, but details of when/where it will be available on Netflix has not yet been announced. Filming for “Vagabond” is on track to finish late May, 2019. The drama series pairs Lee Seung-Gi and Bae Suzy, whom previously worked together in 2013 MBC drama series “Gu Family Book..”

Takumi Saito & Masataka Kubota cast in Hulu drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa Season 2”

Takumi Saito and Masataka Kubota are cast in Hulu drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa Season 2.” The drama series is a sequel to 2016 NTV drama series “Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa.” Takumi Saito & Masataka Kubota will reprise their respective roles from the original drama series, which are criminologist Hideo Himura played by Takumi Saito and mystery writer Arisu Arisugawa played by Masataka Kubota. They work together to solve criminal cases.

“Criminologist Himura and Mystery Writer Arisugawa Season 2” will stream on Hulu this fall in Japan.

Lee Min-Ho cast in drama series “The King: Monarch of Eternity”

Lee Min-Ho is cast in new fantasy-romance drama series “The King: Monarch of Eternity” (literal title). This is Lee Min-Ho’s first acting role since he was discharged from the South Korean military on April 25, 2019 (he enlisted May 12, 2017). The drama series will also reunite Lee Min-Ho with screenwriter Kim Eun-Sook. They previously worked together on 2013 SBS drama series “The Heirs.” Kim Eun-Sook also wrote the screenplays for popular drama series like “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine.” Story for “The King: Monarch of Eternity” will have Lee Min-Ho playing two characters in parallel worlds. He will play Korean Emperor Lee Gon and Detective Jung Tae-Eul. Filming for “The King: Monarch of Eternity” begins the second half of this year.

“The King: Monarch of Eternity” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea. Exact network which the drama series will air on has yet to be decided.

Ryosuke Yamada cast in NTV drama special “The Kitazawas Summer 2019”

Ryosuke Yamada is cast in NTV drama special “The Kitazawas Summer 2019.” The drama special follows 2018 NTV drama series “The Kitazawas: We Mind Our Own Business” and Ryosuke Yamada will reprise his role as youngest son Shusaku Kitazawa. Also set to reprise their respective roles are Haru as brainy sibling Chiaki Kitazawa and Yukiyoshi Ozawa as oldest singling brain surgeon Hirofumi Kitazawa. Nozomu Kotaki, Yuri Tsunematsu, Kazuya Kojima, Yudai Chiba, Kazuyuki Asano and Baijaku Nakamura will also reprise their respective character in the drama special.

“The Kitazawas Summer 2019” will air sometime during summer, 2019 in Japan.
