Teaser trailer #3 for JTBC drama series “Diary of a Prosecutor”

3 versions of teaser trailer #3 added for JTBC drama series “Diary of a Prosecutor” starring Lee Sun-Kyun and Jung Ryeo-Won. All 3 versions of teaser trailer #3 have ASMR related themes. Version 1 begins with captions that states in Korean “Looking for the sound of Jinyoung.” Then, Lee Sun-Kyun and Jung Jae-Sung talk while fishing at night. Version 2 starts off with the same captions of “Looking for the sound of Jinyoung,” then flashes between a chaotic office with Lee Sun-Kyun and a peaceful, empty office with Jung Ryeo-Won. Version 3 starts off with the captions of “Looking for the sound of Jinyoung” then pans to Jung Ryeo-Won, Lee Sun-Kyun and others eating meals together. Minami Hamabe & Ken Yasuda cast in TV Asahi drama series “Providing Alibi Cracking”

Minami Hamabe and Ken Yasuda are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Providing Alibi Cracking” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2018 novel “Alibi Kuzushi Uketamawarimasu” by Seiichiro Oyama. Minami Hamabe will play main character Tokino Mitani. She runs a watch shop, but she also provides an alibi cracking service. Ken Yasuda will play police officer Yoshiyuki Saji. He turns to Tokino Mitani for help on solving cases.

“Providing Alibi Cracking” first airs January, 2020.

Takayuki Hamatsu cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Zetsumeshi Road”

Takayuki Hamatsu is cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Zetsumeshi Road.” The drama series will feature original screenplays by Hayashi Mori, Hiroki Murakami, and Manbo Yashiro. The theme for the drama series revolves around food, specifically dishes that are endangered. Main character Tamio Suda (Takayuki Hamatsu) is an ordinary salaryman, but he has the unusual hobby of seeking out zetsumeshi (endangered meals). The meals are endangered when restaurant owners get older and they don’t have a succession plan or when their is a lack of restaurants serving a particular dish. Also cast in the drama series are Wakana Sakai, Koji Yamamoto, Ruka Nishimura, Koki Osamura, and Toru Nomaguchi.

“Zetsumeshi Road” will first air January 24, 2020 (takes over TV Tokyo’s Friday 1:52 AM time slot after “Eat And Sleep at Camp Alone“).

Kang Han-Na cast in tvN Drama Stage “Woman with a Bleeding Ear”

Kang Han-Na is cast for the lead role in tvN Drama Stage “Woman with a Bleeding Ear” (literal title). The 1 episode drama special is the third installment in the 2020 tvN Drama Stage series. Plot summary per AsianWiki:

Kim Soo-Hee (Kang Han-Na) is an ordinary office worker. She is set to marry her boyfriend soon. Suddenly, whenever she hears something that she does not like to hear, her ear bleeds. Her ordinary life now changes.

“Woman with a Bleeding Ear” will first air December 7, 2019 in South Korea.

Official English title set for tvN drama series “The Cursed”

Per tvN, the official English title has been set as “The Cursed” for their upcoming drama series starring Uhm Ji-Won, Sung Dong-Il, and Jo Min-Soo. The literal title of the drama series is “Method” (“Bangbeob”). The drama series is also scripted by Yeon Sang-Ho, who has previously written and directed popular zombie film “Train To Busan” and animation film “The King of Pigs.”

“The Cursed” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “Crash Landing on You” starring Son Ye-Jin & Hyun-Bin. Teaser trailer #3 focuses on Hyun-Bin as North Korean soldier Ri Jung-Hyeok at first and then shows his interaction with Son Ye-Jin as South Korean heiress Yoon Se-Ri. Teaser trailer #3 also shows for the first time major supporting actors Seo Ji-Hye as Seo Dan and Kim Jung-Hyun as Koo Seung-Joon. Taisuke Fujigaya & Nao cast in NTV drama series “Yameru Toki mo, Sukoyaka Naru Toki mo”

Taisuke Fujigaya (‘Kis-My-Ft.2’) and Nao are cast in NTV drama series “Yameru Toki mo, Sukoyaka Naru Toki mo.” The drama series is based on 2017 novel “Yameru Toki mo, Sukoyaka Naru Toki mo” by Misumi Kubo. Misumi Kubo also wrote the original novel that was adapted into 2012 feature film “The Cowards Who Looked To The Sky .” Story for “Yameru Toki mo, Sukoyaka Naru Toki mo” will follow two young people who carry internal wounds and decide to try find happiness together.

“Yameru Toki mo, Sukoyaka Naru Toki mo” first airs January 20, 2020 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Monday 1AM time slot after “Black School Rules“).
