Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for mystery film “The Closet” starring Ha Jung-Woo, Kim Nam-Gil, and Heo Yool. At the 8 second mark of the teaser trailer, Korean captions states “Closet door opened and …” and at the 18 second mark “child disappeared.” Caption on the teaser poster states “Closet door opened and child disappeared.”

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Due to a sudden accident, Sang-Won’s (Ha Jung-Woo) wife dies. Sang-Won has a daughter Yi-Na (Heo Yool), but his relationship with Yi-Na becomes awkward. To recover his relationship with Yi-Na, they move to a new house. Sang-Won tries to get close to Yi-Na, but it’s not easy. One day, Yi-Na tells him that she has a new friend. Since that time, she begins to laugh. But, Sang-Won hears strange sounds rom Yi-Na’s closet and he notices unusual signs from Yi-Na. Sang-Won then begins to have strange dreams.

Yi-Na then disappears. Sang-Won looks for his daughter, when mysterious man Kyung-Hoon (Kim Nam-Gil) comes to him. He tells Sang-Won that he knows where Yi-Na is and points to her closet.

“The Closet” will be released February, 2020 in South Korea.

Lily Franky, Takumi Saito, Sairi Itoh cast in Fuji TV drama series “Pension: Love Is Pink”

Lily Franky, Takumi Saito, Sairi Itoh are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Pension: Love Is Pink.” The short 5 episode drama series will be directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu & Ryoma Ouchida and scripted by Yasuhiko Shimizu.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Shiro (Lily Franky) runs the pension “Love Is Pink” (“Koi wa Momoiro”) with his daughter Haru (Sairi Itoh). The pension is located on the outskirts of Tokyo. Haru has a problem with her leg, but she works hard and tries to get more guests. This is unlike her father Shiro, who isn’t interested in attracting more guests. Yoshio (Takumi Saito) is young man who begins to work part-time and lives at “Love Is Pink.”

“Pension: Love Is Pink” first airs January 16, 2020 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for SBS drama series “Hyena”

First teaser trailer added for SBS drama series “Hyena” starring Kim Hye-Soo & Ju Ji-Hoon. The drama series follows lawyers who work for the top 1%. The teaser trailer begins with narration in Korean that states “Here, it’s always crowded by predators with power and money. They let this animal wipe their bum. Especially, this male stands out among his group by disposing of his job quickly. He is often deprived prey for this female. This female never misses her prey. The animal who smells of money and throws their entire body is a hyena.”

“Hyena” first airs February 21, 2020 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10 PM time slot after “Hot Stove League“).

3 character teasers added for tvN drama series “Money Game” starring Ko Soo, Shim Eun-Kyung, and Lee Sung-Min. The character teasers are of Ko Soo as Chae Yi-Hun, Shim Eun-Kyung as Lee Hye-Joon, and Lee Sung-Min as Heo Jae. Ko Soo’s teaser has him asking around the 8 second mark “If the economy crumbles tomorrow, are you prepared?,” Shim Eun-Kyung’s teaser has her around the 9 second mark stating “The past 20 years, South Korea has changed. This time we wont suffer,” and Lee Sung-Min’s teaser has him around the 13 second mark stating “South Korea has always been like this. The 1% controls the economy.”

Teaser trailer #2 for MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero”

Teaser trailer #2 added for MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero” starring TaecYeon & Lee Yeon-Hee. Teaser trailer #2 begins with TaecYeoon stating in Korean “I can’t see. That person is the first person that I can not see their moment of death.” Around the 27 second mark, TaecYeon states “For the first time, I see somebody and I get fluttering feeling.”

Meanwhile, above is the first still images of Lee Yeon-Hee in the drama series. She plays Detective Joon-Young in the drama series and works with Kim Tae-Pyeong (TaecYeon).

Ep.1 trailer for Channel A drama series “Touch”

Ep.1 trailer added for upcoming Channel A drama series “Touch” starring Joo Sang-Wook & Kim Bo-Ra. The ep.1 trailer clip has make-up artist Cha Jeong-Hyeok (Joo Sang-Wook) applying make-up to reality girl group TV show contestant Han Soo-Yeon (Kim Bo-Ra), but she doesn’t like his work and takes off the makeup and applies it herself. This infuriates Cha Jeong-Hyeok.

Meanwhile, photos below are of Lee Yeol-Eum and Seo Ji-Hoon as they are set to make a cameo appearance in the drama series. They will play a couple and appear together in ep. 1. They accepted the cameo appearance due to their relationship with Director Min Yeon-Hong. The trio previously worked together in 2018 OCN drama series “My First Love.”

First script and ep.1 air date set for KBS2 drama series “Welcome”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Welcome” (literal title), starring Kim Myung-Soo & Shin Ye-Eun, took place October, 2019 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The first script reading included main cast members Kim Myung-Soo, Shin Ye-Eun, Seo Ji-Hoon, Kang Hoon, Yoon Ye-Joo, Kim Yeo-Jin, Jeon Ik-Ryung, and Yang Dae-Hyeok all attended. The first script reading took about 3 hours to finish. Lead actor Kim Myung-Soo stated prior to the start of the script reading that he would try to make a heartwarming drama. The script has Kim Myung-Soo playing a cat who is able to transform into a man.

Ep.1 air date is now set for March 25, 2020 in South Korea.
