Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: “Find Me in Your Memory” depicts a love story between Lee Jung-Hoon (Kim Dong-Wook) and Yeo Ha-Jin (Mun Ka-Young).

Lee Jung-Hoon works as an anchorman at a broadcasting station. He has hyperthymesia, a condition that allows him to remember nearly every moment in his life. Meanwhile, Yeo Ha-Jin is a top actress. She has forgotten her past. Due to this, she lives as she pleases.

Ryo Yoshizawa and Hana Sugisaki cast in movie “Blue, Painful, and Brittle”

Ryo Yoshizawa and Hana Sugisaki are cast in movie “Blue, Painful, and Brittle” (literal title). The film is based on 2018 novel  “Aokute Itakute Moroi” by Yoru Sumino (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). Shunsuke Kariyama (“Humanoid Monster, Bem“) directs the film and the screenplay adaptation is be written by Noriaki Sugihara (“Sadako“). For the film, Ryo Yoshizawa will play university student Kaede Tabata and Hana Sugisaki will play fellow university student Hisano Akiyoshi.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kaede Tabata (Ryo Yoshizawa) is a university student with poor social skills. He meets Hisano Akiyoshi (Hana Sugisaki), who attends the same university. She seems to lack common sense and is also an idealist. She talks about ending wars and having no more bullies. Kaede Tabata & Hisano Akiyoshi have different personalities, but they are both outsiders. For their goal to change the world, they decide to make a secret club Moai. One day, Hisano Akiyoshi suddenly disappears. Their secret club Moai also changes. Moai becomes a club for job finders and the club gets larger. Kaede Tabata decides to leave the club, but he then decides to take back Moai for its original mission, dreamt up by himself and Hisano Akiyoshi.

“Blue, Painful, and Brittle” will be released August 28, 2020 in Japan.

Arata Furuta & Tori Matsuzaka cast in movie “Blank”

Arata Furuta & Tori Matsuzaka are cast in movie “Blank” (literal title of “Kuhaku”). The film is directed and scripted by Keisuke Yoshida (“Come On Irene“). Filming will begin in late March, 2020 and finish a few weeks later by mid-April, 2020. Filming will take place in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The film will have Tori Matsuzaka playing supermarket operator Naoto Aoyagi and Arata Furuta plays Mitsuru Soeda. His daughter was caught stealing at the supermarket and gets hit by a car, while trying to flee from the store.

“Blank” will be released sometime during 2021 in Japan.

Takuya Kimura is cast in TV Asahi drama series “BG: Personal Bodyguard Season 2.” Also returning for season 2 are Takumi Saito, Nanao and Shotaro Mamiya. Cast to play new supporting characters are Mikako Ichikawa, Masanobu Katsumura, and Toru Nakamura.

Official English title set for tvN drama series “My Unfamiliar Family”

Official English title has been set for tvN drama series “My Unfamiliar Family” starring Han Ye-Ri, Shin Dong-Wook, and Kim Ji-Suk. The literal title of the drama series “(I Don’t Know Much, But) We Are Family.”

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: As people get older, they have less time to spend with their families and separately live their own lives. They become to meet someone who they share their time, feelings, and even their secrets. Under this circumstance, the family becomes like strangers and people in relationships become like family.

Kim Eun-Hee (Han Ye-Ri) is the second daughter in a family. She is tender and thoughtful. She easily trusts people. Kim Eun-Hee works at publishing company.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Friend Contract”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Friend Contract,” starring Lee Sin-Young, Shin Seung-Ho, and Kim So-Hye, took place January, 2020 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. Attendees at the first script reading included Lee Sin-Young, Shin Seung-Ho, Kim So-Hye, Oh Hee-Joon, Min Do-Hee, Cho Yi-Hyun, Kim Won-Hae, Baek Ji-Won, Jang Hye-Jin, and Kim In-Kwon. Prior to the start of the first script reading, Director Yoo Young-Eun handed flowers to the cast and staff, while thanking them for joining the production. He also stated that he would do his best to make a good drama series.

“Friend Contract” will consist of 4 episodes and airs from April 6, 2020 in South Korea. The drama series is KBS2’s first Monday and Tuesday 10PM drama series since “The Tale of Nokdu,” which aired late last year.

English title set for tvN drama series “The Moment”

According to tvN, the official English title is now set as “The Moment” for its upcoming drama series starring Park Bo-Gum, Park So-Dam, and Byeon Woo-Seok. The drama series previously went under its literal title of “Youth Record.”

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Youth Record follows the lives of young people in the world of modeling.

Sa Hye-Joon is smart and handsome. He is a nice guy and a popular model, but what he really wants is to become an actor. He has auditioned for many acting roles, but hasn’t found success yet. Unfortunately, Sa Hye-Joon doesn’t have much presence as an actor. Meanwhile, An Jung-Ha works as a make-up artist.

“The Moment” is tentatively set to air from May, 2020 in South Korea.
