Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kazuki Suzumoto (Yoshihiko Inohara) is divorced and he lives with his 15-year-old son Kouki (Shunsuke Michieda). Kouki is in a susceptible time. The father feels guilty about his son. Kouki then fails his high school entrance exam. In the spring of the following year, Kouki barely passes his high school entrance exam. Kouki mentions to Kazuki that he likes his father’s lunch box. The father and son make a promise to each other. Kazuki promises that he will make a lunch box everyday for Kouki. Kouki promises that he will never skip school.

Sol Kyung-Gu & Yu Jun-Sang cast in movie “Boys”

Sol Kyung-Gu and Yu Jun-Sang are cast for lead roles in based-on-a-true-story film “Boys” (literal title). Also cast in the film are Yum Hye-Ran, Jin Kyung, Heo Sung-Tae, Kim Dong-Youn, Yoo Su-Bin and Kim Kyung-Ho. Actor Cho Jin-Woong will also make a cameo appearance in the film. The film will be directed by Chung Ji-Young. Two of his prior films “Unbowed” and “National Security” were also based on true stories. The story for “Boys” will center around 3 boys who are sent to prison for robbery & murder at a supermarket. The boys receive a second trial and are found are not guilty.

Ploy Synopsis by AsianWiki: 3 boys are arrested in a robbery and homicide case, that took place at a supermarket in a small town. The chief of the investigation team at the time, Hwang Joon-Cheol (Sol Kyung-Gu), has doubts about their conviction and begins to reinvestigate the case.

Teaser trailer #1 added for KBS2 drama series “Men are Men” (English title) starring Hwang Jung-Eum and Yoon Hyun-Min. The teaser trailer has Hwang Jung-Eum as Seo Hyun-Joo, standing on a heliport area of an office building. She holds a bouquet of yellow flowers, while dressed in a white dress and orange canvas sneakers. At the 6 second mark, Hwang Jung-Eum states “Goodbye everyone.” She then runs and proceeds to jump high into the sky. Yoon Hyun-Min as Hwang Ji-Woo then calls out her by name. At the 19 second mark, Hwang Jung Eum states “Goodbye everyone. I am free from the bondage and restrictions of marriage. And I leave for happiness as a single person. I wish you all happiness too.”

Teaser poster and teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Into The Ring” (working title) starring Nana and Park Sung-Hoon. The teaser poster features Nana as Koo Se-Ra. Caption on the poster states “Money is the original intention.” The drama series has Koo Se-Ra running for an election, rather than getting a job. The teaser trailer begins with messages for Koo Se-Ra, stating that she did not get the job. The big winners in film was Bong Joon-Ho‘s “Parasite” and in drama series “When the Camellia Blooms.” Movie “Parasite” won 3 awards: “Grand Prize,” “Best Film,” and “Best New Actor” (Park Myoung-Hoon). Drama series “When the Camellia Blooms” won 4 awards: “Grand Prize,” “Best Screenplay,” “Best Actor” (Kang Ha-Neul), and “Best Supporting Actor” (Oh Jung-Se). Shin Hye-Sun & Kim Jung-Hyun cast in tvN drama series “Queen Cheorin”

Shin Hye-Sun and Kim Jung-Hyun are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Queen Cheorin” (literal title). Bae Jong-Ok and Kim Tae-Woo are also cast for major supporting characters. The drama series is a period-comedy, but with a major twist. The twist is that a man in the present day’s spirit somehow takes over the body of Queen Kim So-Yong (played by Shin Hye-Sun) in the Joseon era. Kim Jung-Hyun will play King Cheoljong.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: In the present day, Jang Bong-Hwan works as a chef at the President’s Blue House. He has a free spirit, but his spirit somehow finds its way into the body of Queen Kim So-Yong (Shin Hye-Sun) in the Joseon period.

King Cheoljong (Kim Jung-Hyun) has secrets. He seems like a figurehead, who is gentle and easygoing. In fact, he hides his strong aspects. Queen Sunwon (Bae Jong-Ok) is the late King Sunjo’s wife. She wields the true power in the country and, thus, relegates King Cheoljong as just a figurehead. Kim Jwa-Geun (Kim Tae-Woo) is Queen Sunwon’s younger brother. He is extremely ambitious.
