Main trailer and poster added for movie “A Pale View of Hills”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “A Pale View of Hills” starring Suzu Hirose and Fumi Nikaido. The human mystery film recently held its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. The main trailer for the film begins with captions around the 6 second mark that states “‘Humans sometimes lie not to deceive others, but to fool themselves and turn a blind eye to the difficult truth.’ …Kazuo Ishiguro.” The quote is by author Kazuo Ishiguro, who wrote the original novel “A Pale View of Hills” that the movie is based on.

“A Pale View of Hills” will be released September 5, 2025 in Japan.

Park Min-Young, Park Hee-Soon, & Joo Jong-Hyuk cast in Coupang Play drama “The Confidence Man KR”

Park Min-Young, Park Hee-Soon, & Joo Jong-Hyuk are cast in Coupang Play drama series “The Confidence Man KR.” Drama series is based on 2018 Fuji TV drama series “The Confidence Man JP” that stars Masami Nagasawa, Masahiro Higashide, and Fumiyo Kohinata. In “The Confidence Man KR,” Park Min-Young will play genius con artist Yoon Yi-Rang. She works with James (Park Hee-Soon) and Myeong Ku-Ho (Joo Jong-Hyuk) as the swindler group The Confidence Man. They target evil people and groups.

“The Confidence Man KR” will be available to stream from September 6, 2025 in South Korea via Coupang Play and also stream on Amazon Prime Video globally outside of Korea.

Choi Jin-Hyuk & Oh Yeon-Seo cast in Channel A drama “I Have a Baby”

Choi Jin-Hyuk & Oh Yeon-Seo are cast in Channel A drama series “I Have a Baby” (literal title). The romantic-comedy drama series is based on webcomic “Akika Saengkyeosseoyo” by Lee Jeong & Kang Ki. Setup for the drama series will have Choi Jin-Hyuk will play chaebol heir Kang Du-Jun. He has no desire to marry. Oh Yeon-Seo will play Jang Hee-Won. She is only focused on her work and also has no desire to marry. A one-night stand between the two lead characters leads to Jang Hee-Won becoming pregnant.

“I Have a Baby” will air sometime in the first half of 2026.

Kento Yamazaki cast in movie “Kingdom 5”

Kento Yamazaki is cast in live-action sequel film “Kingdom 5.” Kento Yamazaki, who has starred in the previous four “Kingdom” films, will once again play main character Shin. Returning on the staff side are Director Shinsuke Sato and Screenwriter Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who also worked together on the previous four “Kingdom” films. Caption on the teaser poster above sates “Accept others’ thoughts and move forward.”

“Kingdom 5” will be released summer 2026 in Japan.

Teaser trailer 2 added for JTBC drama series “Esquire” starring Lee Jin-Uk, Jung Chae-Yeon, Jeon Hye-Bin, & Lee Hak-Joo. The teaser trailer begins with Lee Jin-Uk as Lawyer Yoon Seok-Hun stating “Cellphone is broken and the stain on the clothes is roughly rubbed with white-out.” This is followed arounf the 3 second mark with an anonymous voice that states “That friend who is late is the one who won the national law school mock trial.”

Byeon Woo-Seok is cast in Netflix drama series “Solo Leveling.” Drama series is based on popular web novel “Na Honjaman Levelup” by Chugong and will be directed by Lee Hae-JunKim Byung-Seo. The two directors previously worked together in 2019 action movie “Ashfall.” In “Solo Leveling,” Byeon Woo-Seok will play Seong Jin-Woo. He is a hunter that protects the world against monsters from another dimension. He’s often laughed at by other hunters because of his weak abilities, but he suddenly gains an amazing ability to level up his powers.

Teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “The Nice Guy” starring Lee Dong-Wook & Lee Sung-Kyung. The third teaser trailer focuses on the family of Park Seok-Cheol (Lee Dong-Wook), whose family has been involved in organized crime for three generations. His father is Park Sil-Gon (Cheon Ho-Jin) and he has two sisters Park Seok-Kyeong (Oh Na-Ra) and Park Seok-Hee (Ryoo Hye-Young).
