Park Ji-Hoon cast in TVING drama “The Military Cook Becomes a Legend”

Park Ji-Hoon, Yoon Kyung-Ho, Han Dong-Hee, & Lee Hong-Nae are cast in TVING drama series “The Military Cook Becomes a Legend” (literal title). Drama series is based on webcomic “Chwisabyeong Jeonseolyi Dweda” by J Robin and directed by Jo Nam-Hyeong (“Tale of the Nine Tailed“). The military comedy script will have Park Ji-Hoon play main character Kang Seong-Jae. He gets transferred to Gangrim Post and begins to work as an assistant to Cook Yoon Dong-Hyeon in the cafeteria there.

“The Military Cook Becomes a Legend” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster for tvN drama “Love Take Two”

Teaser trailer and poster added for tvN drama series “Love Take Two” starring Yum Jung-Ah, Park Hae-Joon, Choi Yoon-Ji, & Kim Min-Kyu. The teaser trailer and teaser poster are both titled as “Comma teaser” and “Comma poster.” Drama series revolves around a single mother in her 40’s and, her first love, a single father in his 40’s. Caption on the teaser poster states “We’ve now decided to live today’s happiness.” At the end of the teaser trailer, the teaser reveals why it is titled “comma teaser.” The comma is shown being placed in the Korean title, after “First” and then connected by “For the Love.”

“Love Take Two” will first air August 4, 2025 in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster added for Netflix movie “Wall to Wall” starring Kang Ha-Neul, Yum Hye-Ran, & Seo Hyun-Woo. The thriller film revolves around new apartment owner Woo-Sung (Kang Ha-Neul). He, along with other residents, must deal with noises that come through the floors of their apartments. Caption on the poster states “The apartment’s not to blame. Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose cast in movie “Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku”

Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose are cast in movie “Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku.” Movie is based on 2022 novel “Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku” by Yuu Nagira (“Wandering“) and directed by Michihito Fujii (“The Journalist“). The film will be set on a scenic island in the Seto Inland Sea. Ryusei Yokohama will play high school student Kai Aono. He transfers from Kyoto to the island. Suzu Hirose will play Akimi Inoue. She meets Kai Aono on the island and they fall in love.

“Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer and poster for Netflix drama “Glass Heart”

Trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Glass Heart” starring Takeru Satoh and Yu Miyazaki. The music themed drama series is based on novel “Glass Heart” by Mio Wakagi. The main cast (Takeru Satoh, Yu Miyazaki, Keita Machida, Jun Shison, and Masaki Suda) has reportedly spent over a year learning their instruments & singing to portray the fictional band TENBLANK in the movie. Meanwhile, the trailer also features for the first time the track “Glass Heart” that was composed by musician Yojiro Noda and performed by actor Takeru Satoh. That track appears in the second half of the main trailer.

“Glass Heart” will be available to stream from July 31, 2025 in Japan.

Choo Young-Woo and Shin Shi-A are cast in movie “Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.” Movie is based on 2020 Japanese novel “Konya, Sekai kara kono Koi ga Kietemo” by Misaki Ichijo, which was previously adapted into 2022 movie “Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.” In the remake film, Shin Shi-A plays Han Seo-Yoon. She has a disease that causes her memory to reset every morning. Choo Young-Woo plays Kim Jae-Won. He meets her and experiences change in his life. For popular actor Choo Young-Woo, the movie will mark his first acting appearance in a feature length film.

“Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight” is scheduled for release later this year in South Korea.

Main trailer added for Wavve drama series “S Line” starring Lee Soo-Hyuk, Lee Da-Hee, & Arin. Drama series recently screened at the 2025 Cannes International Series Festival in the Competition section. Story for “S Line” revolves around a woman that is able to see red threads that connects people to their sexual partners. Chaos ensues when glasses appear that allow other people the same power. Park Shin-Hye & Ko Kyoung-Pyo are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Miss Undercover Boss.” Also cast for major supporting character roles are Ha Yoon-Kyung & Cho Han-Gyeol. The office comedy drama series is scripted by Moon Hyun-Kyeong (“Memorials“) and directed by Park Sun-Ho (“Brewing Love“). In “Miss Undercover Boss,” Park Shin-Hye will play Hong Geum-Bo. She works at the Financial Supervisory Service as a supervisor, but she is she sent to work undercover as a rookie employee at a company with suspicious financial activity. Ko Kyoung-Pyo will play Sin Jeong-Woo. He is the CEO Hanmin Securities Company and was once in love with Hong Geum-Bo.

“Miss Undercover Boss” will air sometime in the first half of next year.

Air date and still images for KBS2-Disney+ drama “Twelve”

Air date and still images released for KBS2-Disney+ drama series “Twelve” starring Ma Dong-Seok, Park Hyung-Sik, & Seo In-Guk. The drama series will air in a new KBS2 Saturday and Sunday 9:20 PM time slot from August 23, 2025. KBS2 will move their prime time miniseries from Wednesday and Thursday 9:50 PM time slot to Saturday and Sunday 9:20PM after “My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy.” “Twelve” will follow 12 zodiac angels as they go up against evil O-Gwi (Park Hyung-Sik). So far, the known angels are played by Ma Dong-Seok, Seo In-Guk, Lee Joo-Bin, Ko Kyu-Pil, Kang Mi-Na, Sung Yoo-Bin, Ahn Ji-Hye and Regina Lei. Sung Dong-Il will play a human with special abilities chosen by God and he is the manager of the 12 angels.
