Two women, a top star (Lee Ha-Nee) and a rookie actress (Bang Hyo-Rin), work on the unprecedented movie “Aema,” that heats up South Korea. Trailer and poster for movie “Mt. Fuji and Happiness Code”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Mt. Fuji and Happiness Code” starring Issei Mamehara and Yoshie Ichige. The film revolves around a young man, Takuma (Issei Mamehara), who moves in with his grandmother (Yoshie Ichige) after her husband passes away. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Hiraku” performed by boy band JO1. The song is written and composed by Motohiro Hata. The movie’s lead actor Issei Mamehara is a member of JO1 and the track “Hiraku” is featured in the trailer as well.

“Mt. Fuji and Happiness Code” will be released October 24, 2025 in Japan.

Roh Jeong-Eui cast in tvN drama “Our Universe”

Roh Jeong-Eui is cast in tvN drama series “Our Universe” co-starring Bae In-Hyuk. Roh Jeong-Eui will play lead female character Woo Hyun-Jin. After the death of her older sister and the death Sun Tae-Hyeong’s (Bae In-Hyuk) older brother in an accident, Woo Hyun-Jin begins to live with Sun Tae-Hyeong to take care of their nephew, who is now left parentless. Their relationship develops as they begin to cohabitate and tackle parenting problems.

“Our Universe” will first air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Teaser poster and air date set for JTBC drama “A Hundred Memories”

First teaser poster and air date set for JTBC drama series “A Hundred Memories” starring Kim Da-Mi and Shin Ye-Eun. Drama series is set during the 1980’s and revolves around two women who are friends and work as bus attendants. Caption on the teaser poster states “The bus is leaving. All right!” As bus attendants, Go Young-Rye (Kim Da-Mi) and Seo Jong-Hee’s (Shin Ye-Eun) job is to collect fares, greet passengers, guide passengers getting off the bus, and make sure things are safe.

“A Hundred Memories” is now set to air from September 13, 2025 in South Korea (will take over JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 10:40 PM time slot after “Beyond the Bar“).

Shin Hae-Sun, Gong Myung, Kim Jae-Wook, and Hong Hwa-Yeon cast in tvN drama “Secret Audit”

Shin Hae-Sun, Gong Myung, Kim Jae-Wook, and Hong Hwa-Yeon are cast in tvN drama series “Secret Audit” (literal title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy, that will be directed by Lee Soo-Hyun (“My Dearest Nemesis“) and scripted by Yeo Eun-Ho (“Crash Course in Romance“). Screenwriter Yang Hee-Seung, who scripted “Crash Course in Romance” with Yeo Eun-Ho, is credited as the show creator for “Secret Audit.” Meanwhile, Shin Hae-Sun will play Joo In-A. She works in the audit department for Haemu Group. Gong Myung will play No Ki-Joon. He also works in the audit department at Haemu Group, but gets demoted to another team. Kim Jae-Wook will play Jeon Jae-Yeol. He is an heir in the Haemu Group. Lastly, Hong Hwa-Yeon will play Park A-Jeong. She works as a secretary for Jeon Jae-Yeol.

“Secret Audit” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Here’s two teaser posters for upcoming SBS drama series “Queen Mantis” starring Ko Hyun-Jung and Jang Dong-Yoon. Satoshi Tsumabuki is cast in TBS drama series “The Royal Family.” The drama series, that revolves around horse racing, is based on 2019 novel “The Royal Family” by Kazumasa Hayami. Actor Satoshi Tsumabuki previously starred in 2018 WOWOW drama series “Innocent Days.” that is also based on a novely by Kazumasa Hayami. Filming for the “The Royal Family” will take place at a real race track and have the full cooperation of the Japan Racing Association.

Jeon Do-Yeon, Sul Kyung-Gu, Zo In-Sung, and Cho Yeo-Jeong cast in movie “Possible Love”

Jeon Do-Yeon, Sul Kyung-Gu, Zo In-Sung, and Cho Yeo-Jeong are cast in Lee Chang-Dong directed movie “Possible Love” (working title). The film will be released through Netflix. For award winning director, “Possible” will mark his first film in 8 years and his 7th film to date. He famously worked with Jeon Do-Yeon in 2007 movie “Secret Sunshine,” which won Jeon Do-Yeon a best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival. Jeon Do-Yeon and actor Sul Kyung-Gu will work together for the fourth time in their acting careers.
