Teaser trailer for KBS2 drama “Miss Monte-Cristo”

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Miss Monte-Cristo” starring Lee So-Yeon, Kyoung Sung-Hwan, & Choi Yeo-Jin. The teaser trailer begins with Lee So-Yeon stating “I was waiting for this day to come.” Above are character posters of Lee So-Yeon as Go Eun-Zo and Choi Yeo-Jin as Oh Ha-Ra.

“Miss Monte-Cristo” first airs February 15, 2021 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday – Friday 7:50 PM time slot after “Man in a Veil.”).

Teaser trailer for movie “Kakegurui The Movie Part 2”

Teaser trailer added for live-action sequel film “Kakegurui The Movie Part 2” starring Minami Hamabe & Mahiro Takasugi. Movie is based on manga series “Kakegurui” by Homura Kawamoto & directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa (“Sadako 3D“). The teaser trailer shows Ryusei Fujii as Makuro Shikigami. He is a new character and did not appear in the 2019 film “Kakegurui The Movie.” Makuro Shikigami is the cruelest assassin and an excellent gambler.

“Kakegurui The Movie Part 2” will be released May, 2021 in Japan.

Park Ji-Hoon, Kang Min-Ah & Lee Sin-Young cast in drama “Blue Spring From A Distance”

Park Ji-Hoon, Kang Min-Ah and  Lee Sin-Young are cast in new drama series “Blue Spring From A Distance” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Meorliseo Bomyun Peureun Bom” by Ji Nyoong. Currently, KBS is having discussions to air the drama series in the first half of this year, but a deal has not been finalized. The drama series will tell stories of various university students.

Hyun-Bin & Yu Hae-Jin cast in movie “Confidential Assignment 2: International”

Hyun-BinYu Hae-JinYoonaDaniel Henney and Jin Seon-Kyu are cast in sequel film “Confidential Assignment 2: International.” All of the performers will reprise their respective characters from 2017 movie “Confidential Assignment,” except for Daniel Henney who will play new character F.B.I. agent Jack. The film will again revolve around North North Korean detective Im Chul-Ryung (Hyun-Bin), who comes to South Korea on a new mission. Lee Suk-Hoon (“The Pirates“/”Dancing Queen“) will direct the sequel film.

Filming will begin February, 2021 for “Confidential Assignment 2: International.”

Lee Young-Ae offered lead role in drama “Amazing Koo Kyung-Yi”

Actress Lee Young-Ae has been offered the lead female role in drama series “Amazing Koo Kyung-Yi” (literal title). Currently, Lee Young-Ae is “positively” considering her offer. If Lee Young-Ae accepts she will play Koo Kyung-Yi. She is a former police officer and now works as insurance investigator and private detective.

“Amazing Koo Kyung-Yi” will sometime later this year in South Korea, but broadcasting network has yet to be decided.
