Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming Netflix live-action film “Ride or Die” starring Kiko Mizuhara & Honami Sato. Also announced for supporting character roles in the film are Yoko Maki, Anne Suzuki, Tetsushi Tanaka, Sara Minami, Shinya Niiro, Shunsuke Tanaka. The movie is based on manga series manga series “Gunjo” by Ching Nakamura and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki (“Vibrator“).
“Ride or Die” will be available to stream on Netflix from April 15, 2021.

Anna Yamada is cast for the lead role in movie “Hiraite.” The film is based on 2012 novel “Hiraite” by Risa Wataya (“Tremble All You Want“) and directed by Rin Shuto (“Nacchan wa mada Shinjuku“). The film tells a love triangle romance story with Anna Yamada playing high school student Ai Kimura.
“Hiraite” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Alan Shirahama (“EXILE”/”Generations from Exile Tribe”) is cast for the lead role in TV Asahi drama series “Don’t Cry Doctor-In-Training” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2019 novel “Nakuna Kenshui” by Yujiro Nakayama. In the drama series, Alan Shirahama will play intern Ryuji Ameno. He came from the countryside and now works at a hospital in Tokyo. He struggles as a doctor-in-training.

Kyoko Yoshine is cast the lead role in sci-fi film “Arc.” The film is based on short story “Arc” by Ken Liu & directed by Kei Ishikawa (“Gukoroku: Traces of Sin“). Kyoko Yoshine will play a woman from the age of 17 to over 100. She was the recipient of a technology that allowed her to become immortal. Also cast in the film are Shinobu Terajima, Masaki Okada, Kurumi Shimizu, Kai Inowaki, Tsubasa Nakagawa, Yuri Nakamura, Chieko Baisho, Jun Fubuki and Kaoru Kobayashi. The first teaser trailer for the film has been added at AsianWiki.
Filming for “Arc” began February, 2020 and finished March, 2020. Filming took place at Kagawa Prefecture in Japan. “Arc” will be released June 25, 2021 in Japan.

Teaser trailer #2 added for KBS2 drama series “Revolutionary Sisters” (English title) starring Hong Eun-Hee, Jeon Hye-Bin, & Go Won-Hee. The teaser trailer begins with senior citizen Lee Cheol-Soo (Yun Ju-Sang) receiving a court document while at work at a construction site. The court document informs him that his wife has filed for a divorce.
The weekday evening drama series is now scheduled to first March 13, 2021 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 7:55 PM time slot after “Homemade Love Story“).
